Winter weather, windy walk…

Saturday, I took to the treadmill.

Positive, pink, and powered through.

Sunday, I took to the streets.

Clear, cold, and bundled up.

Movement - whether inside or out - is my meditation. A chance to process, reflect, and sift through the noise.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about this:

Facts are facts. Opinions? We’re all entitled to them - but that doesn’t mean we have to like the facts.

Trust. Good faith. Where do they fit in a world of soundbites?

Confirmation bias. Are we consuming information to learn or just to reinforce what we already believe?

Fact vs. Opinion. Read. Listen. Consider various sources. Think before we draw conclusions.

Just because an idea is repeated doesn’t make it true. And just because it’s unpopular doesn’t make it false.

Persuasion?

Propaganda?

The line between the two can be razor-thin.

Just a few thoughts that kept pace with me this weekend.
