Is it an oxymoron to say I will be CONTENT while STRIVING for better?
I suppose if you define CONTENT in such a way that it suggests SETTLING.
Anyone who knows me, knows that settling is ‘less than ideal’.
So, good ‘ole internet to the rescue. I looked up a formal definition of content. According to Oxford Languages, I got…
noun - a state of satisfaction
verb - satisfactory
adjective - in a state of powerful happiness
That’s it.
The latter definition is what I am referring to!
To Be
To Live
… in a state of peaceful happiness…
while recognizing the need for an open mind, practicing a growth mindset.
To embody an attitude of lifelong learning and curiosity.
