Colleen O’Connell-Campbell, Wealth Advisor
A graduate of Carleton University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Degree (1996), Colleen is a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), and she is also life insurance licensed. She continues to educate herself through a variety of financial workshops and other independent education and enrichment resources.
For Colleen, working with clients is about establishing a connection and building a relationship that will help them to understand and communicate their needs and vision so they can develop a strategy that will help them realize their goals – whether that be retirement planning, estate planning, transition planning (moving to a new job, getting married), or understanding the nuances of financial planning as it relates to separation and divorce.
Working in the financial services sector since 1994, Colleen moved quickly from teller to personal banking and then to Financial Planner in the fall of 2000. Within a year, Colleen began developing her own clientele and continued her evolution to her current position as Wealth Advisor, leading a team of dedicated professionals supporting her commitment to her clients and their financial well-being, finding options that benefit each client financially while remaining in line with their key values and morals.
Colleen was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, where she continues to live with her husband and two boys. She has been called upon to speak as an expert in areas relating to financial planning and entrepreneurship. With the support of her spouse, Colleen is actively involved in numerous community initiatives, including: Women for Mental Health – an organization of which Colleen is a founding member, Almonte Celtfest and Fiddlers Friends – two community based initiatives founded and/or led by Colleen and her family, Ottawa Makeover Project – a whole life makeover provided to one recipient each year, and Distinctive Women - a national publication and online community that showcases exceptional entrepreneurs and outstanding achievers.
