Now that the April 30th personal income tax filing deadline is behind us, the anticipation begins for those of you lucky enough to receive a refund. If you are like many of us, this sometimes unexpected inflow of money often has your mental wheels turning on what to do with the funds even before they hit your bank account.  The attached article outlines some strategies that may help you use your income tax refund wisely and assist you in meeting your goals.

What will I do?

Brendon: "I am going to have some fun.  Taking the family to West Edmonton Mall water park. Whatever is left will go against debt."

Molly: "I took the practical approach and purchased a new blind for my living room. The remaining will go towards debt/savings. "

Lauralee: "I am saving mine for travel and going to top up my TFSA."

Whatever you decide to do with your refund (practical/fun), if we can be of any assistance in putting your refund to work we would appreciate the opportunity to help you out.
