With over 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, Bonny has been successfully helping her clients reach their personal and financial milestones.
As a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor, she believes “to invest successfully over a lifetime does not require a stratospheric IQ, unusual business insight, or inside information. What’s needed is a sound intellectual framework for decisions and the ability to keep emotions from corroding that framework,” (words from Warren Buffett).
Bonny graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics, has earned the Chartered Financial Planning (CFP) designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council in 1998, the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2003, and received her Fellowship of Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI) designation in 2007. She has also completed Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) in 2001 to assist clients with their life insurance needs.
Though Bonny was born and raised in Vancouver, she is fluent in both English and Cantonese. Away from the office, Bonny spends her time instilling the same values & integrity onto her two daughters. Nothing is easy, but hard work will bring rewards.
