Branch Director
As a Branch Director with RBC Dominion Securities, Scott MacKinnon leads branches in Bells Corners in Ottawa, Brockville, Cornwall and Pembroke, offering best-in-class support to the advisors and their teams, so they can offer exceptional client experiences. He prides himself on identifying opportunities and resolving challenges with speed and tact, and always has his ear to the ground for potential efficiencies and improvements.
To guide his teams to success, Scott draws on his expert knowledge and almost 30 of industry experience including being a Branch Director for over 20 years. A graduate of Carlton University, Scott obtained a degree in Economics and went on to complete an MBA from the University of Dalhousie. A firm believer in ongoing education, he has acquired the advanced industry designations of Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®).
Scott’s breadth of experience, expertise, and credentials serve him well in his mission to offer you a best-in-class wealth management service.
Associate Branch Director & Investment Advisor
As an Associate Branch Director with RBC Dominion Securities, Matthew Pestell assists Scott MacKinnon in supporting the Ottawa, Bells Corners branch staff. He helps set advisors and their teams up for success through established best practices as well as innovative leadership.
To excel in his mandate, Matthew leans on his expertise and 14 of industry experience, including previous positions in retail Branch Banking and Financial Planning. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Matthew obtained a bachelor’s degree with Honours and committed to ongoing education, he has acquired the advanced industry designation of Personal Financial Planner (PFP®).
Branch Operations Manager
As a Branch Operations Manager with RBC Dominion Securities, Eva Comeau oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch, special initiatives, and manages the team of Associates.
To excel in her role, Eva draws on her expert knowledge and 7 years of experience, including previous positions as Branch Operations Assistant, Branch Technology Specialist, Investment Advisor Associate and Assistant Branch Operations Manager. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Eva obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology. Devoted to continued education, she has she has completed the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct & Practices Handbook.
Assistant Branch Operations Manager
As an Assistant Branch Operation Manager with RBC Dominion Securities, Sarah Poirier assists Eva Comeau with oversight of day-to-day and special activities at the Bells Corners branch.
To succeed in her role, Sarah leans on her expertise and over 10 years of experience, including previous positions as an Associate, as well as providing lending and financial advice with RBC Retail Banking. Devoted to continued education, she has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and Wealth Management Essentials.
