Adrian's global experience at senior and managerial levels on dealing floors of leading investment banks and securities houses has allowed him to experience full market cycles. Before joining RBC Dominion Securities, Adrian developed and maintained a loyal client base in Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York, London, Singapore and Sydney over 20 years of international experience in capital markets. During this time, he would trade in excess of US$50 billion of his clients' assets on an annual basis.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame (Notre Dame, Indiana) with a bachelor's degree in finance, Adrian also holds certification with the Collegiate Sequence in International Business, awarded by the university's Mendoza College of Business. He acquired a number of accreditations from his career in international capital markets including Options and Futures Representative with the Japan Securities Dealers Association, and Securities and Futures Intermediary with the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. After moving to Canada, Adrian quickly earned the advanced designation of Chartered Investment Manager, as well as an accreditation with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) for life insurance. Adrian continues to pursue further accreditation to better serve his clients.
Adrian strongly believes in a healthy and active lifestyle outside of the office. He was an NCAA Division 1 athlete who played tennis for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and still loves to play at the competitive and social level. Passionate about giving back to his community, Adrian is a SickKids Foundation Innovator. In this role, he has been dedicated to raising funds for the hospital, volunteering at events, and spending time with patients.
While being a dual citizen of Canada and Japan and holder of Hong Kong Permanent Residency, Adrian considers Canada to be his true home, and has put the final piece of his career plan together by establishing a wealth management practice in Canada.
