For individual clients
Working with each client, Shane builds a financial roadmap, outlining where they are today, where they want to go, and the steps to get there. Thanks to his knowledge and sophisticated RBC Dominion Securities tools, this detailed roadmap accounts for all the details, such as inflation and CPP, and allows for planned one-time expenses, such as home purchases or a loved one’s university education. In addition, the plan can be adjusted as needed.
For institutional clients
Shane offers investment management for corporations, organizations, and not-for-profit/charitable entities. As with his individual clients, he meets with the management team and/or the board of directors to discuss the purpose of the funds and any requirements or concerns they may have. Shane then develops a proposal for how the funds will be invested.
For all clients
Once a client’s or organization’s plan is in place, it serves as a guide for making future financial decisions. Hard-earned assets are invested according to the plan, and tax implications are always considered during the decision-making process. Shane often involves his client’s accountant to ensure they support the plan and can plan for any tax implications of Shane’s investment recommendations.
Ongoing plan and portfolio reviews are conducted, and Shane meets with clients regularly to provide progress updates, guide them as needed, and ensure their plans are on track.
