As an Investment Counsellor with RBC PH&N Investment Counsel, Patrick provides comprehensive wealth management services for high-net-worth families, trusts and not-for-profit organizations.
Patrick keeps his client base small so to ensure frequent communication and a consistent hands-on service offering. He prides himself on building trusting long-term relationships with his clients and their families to clearly understand their financial situation, investment objectives and any relevant unique circumstances.
Working closely with our in-house team of tax, legal, estate and insurance specialists helps Patrick ensure that insightful and integrated wealth strategies are in place. Together with his team, he takes time to understand what matters to his clients in order to design customized investment portfolios to help them meet their short-and long-term goals, as well as plan for a tax-efficient generational wealth transfer.
Patrick has been in the financial business since 2006. Prior to joining the firm, he spent a decade as a Senior Partner at an independent investment manager in Vancouver, where he ran the daily operations of the firm’s equity portfolio and worked closely with a broad client base of high-net worth families.
He earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Strategic Management (MBA) from the University of British Columbia and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Victoria. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations and is a member of both the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Vancouver.
Actively involved in his community, Patrick is a long-time committee organizer with the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation and member of the NEXT Leaders Council in support of the Business Council of BC. He was born and raised in North Vancouver where he currently lives with his wife and two boys. Patrick appreciates the outdoor lifestyle that Vancouver affords and on weekends can often be found skiing, golfing or hiking with the family.
