Maymar Naman draws upon his creative, entrepreneurial spirit and his deep business expertise to guide his clients through important milestones – big and small. “I’m a connector,” he says with great pride. Maymar works diligently to connect his clients with the right people and the right resources for their individual needs. “I like to anchor my clients with partners in all professional areas to give them a more comprehensive wealth service.”
Maymar first established himself in the financial services industry nearly twenty years ago. After graduating with a degree in economics and political science from York University, Maymar worked for two of Canada’s major financial institutions before joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2013. Maymar brings together the best of both worlds. As a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) holder, he can offer his clients insightful and strategic investment advice, and as a Wealth Advisor, he is well equipped to manage a full suite of complex financial affairs.
Maymar focuses on building strong relationships to provide outstanding service. “There’s no greater feeling than seeing my clients grow and truly benefit from my financial advice,” he says. “I find that shared success can really strengthen a relationship.” Maymar recognizes the increasing financial complexities that come with creating wealth, which is why coordinating the various aspects of wealth management is a key component of his approach.
“Growing up, I wanted to be an artist. But, I also loved business,” Maymar fondly recalls, and he makes a point of supporting both in his philanthropic pursuits. He’s an avid painter, sculptor, and classical music enthusiast; he previously served as a Curator Circle Committee Member for the Art Gallery of Ontario and currently serves as a Maestro Club Ambassador for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and is member of the advisory committee for Luminato Festival Toronto. As Director and former finance committee member/treasurer for the Canadian Arab Business Council, Maymar is able to leverage his strong business acumen to support other Canadian/Arab businesses.

After graduating from Ryerson’s Human Resources program, Jana took a chance on an opportunity to work for RBC and she hasn’t looked back. Over the last twenty years, she gained extensive experience working for different advisor teams before she joined Maymar’s growing practice in 2018.
Today, Jana is an integral part of Naman Private Wealth’s story. As our team’s administrative assistant, she prides herself on finding solutions to complex problems for our clients. She handles all client requests with great care, eager to answer any questions or provide thorough information. Clients appreciate her forward-thinking approach as well as her adaptability and flexibility; she maintains outstanding client service no matter the medium – in person, on the phone, or even on video calls.
When she’s not providing efficient and exceptional client service, Jana enjoys spending time with her family or sweeping the floor with her curling team.
