A member of the Rothesay community, Leonard offers a full suite of investment and wealth management services to clients and finds great joy in a career that helps individuals, families and businesses achieve their important long-term financial goals. He is a graduate of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration. During his MBA, Leonard won first place among all Canadian universities in the Dalhousie Credit Risk Analysis Challenge.
After his education, Leonard joined RBC as Commercial Account Manager supporting a wide array of commercial businesses in Newfoundland and New Brunswick. During this time, he received the coveted RBC Convention award for top performance in Atlantic Canada for two consecutive years in 2016 and 2017, for his role in supporting the growth and expansion of commercial businesses in New Brunswick.
Before obtaining his MBA and joining the financial services industry, Leonard worked as an executive in some of the finest luxury hotels in the world, such as the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons George V, Plaza Athénée, and The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts in Asia, Europe and North America.
When he’s not in the office, Leonard and his wife, Heather, stay busy with their two active, young children. He is fluent in four languages and is in the process of learning his fifth.
