Senior Portfolio Manager
Daryl’s greatest passions are family, helping people, and water sports, and working as senior portfolio manager gives him the opportunity to support all three. “My clients aren’t just a number,” he says, “I feel it’s my responsibility to not only help them reach their goals but to assure them that their goals are possible.”
As leader of The Knudson Wealth Group, Daryl leverages over 25 years of industry experience, combined with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University, to provide his clients with industry-leading and research-driven investment management. Considered one of the industry’s leading investment professionals, Daryl taps into his extensive institutional knowledge to simplify complicated investment research for his clients.
Actively involved in the community, Daryl often dedicates his time to volunteer for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), most recently assisting with a waterfront revitalization project on Lake Joseph, and he’s proud to have his son following his example.
Daryl and his family split their time between Toronto and the Muskoka region, where he enjoys kite surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and skiing.

Matthew was exposed to the world of finance at an early age. Since both of his parents are accountants, he quickly learned that making good financial decisions comes from having a solid knowledge base. He felt the best way help others was to pursue a career in financial services.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University, with a dual major in financial economics and biology, Matthew gained extensive full-service brokerage experience working for some of Canada’s largest financial institutions. Along the way, he became a CFA Charterholder, one of the industry’s top designations.
In 2021, Matthew joined The Knudson Wealth Group, where he leverages his previous experience and strong passion for capital markets to deliver industry-leading, research-backed portfolio management for our clients. Matthew is grateful to be in a position where he can empower and educate clients, and ultimately, help them move forward with confidence.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys exploring all the great dining Toronto has to offer. He is also a sports enthusiast, both playing and watching, with an emphasis on golf and basketball.

No matter the task, Karl is the person who can get it done. Whether it’s performing a full rebalance from his home office in the early days of lockdown or meticulously ensuring every change or trade “shakes out,” Karl is known for his consistency, reliability, and resourcefulness.
After graduating in 2011 from the Ted Rogers School of Business Management at Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in finance, Karl began his career at RBC in the Richmond Hill branch, where he assisted with clients’ day-to-day banking needs.
Committed to providing an excellent client experience, Karl joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2015. In 2017, he brought his experience to The Knudson Wealth Group, where he supports both our team and our clients with their investment portfolio and wealth management needs. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Karl has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as well as the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) Course.
A car enthusiast, Karl spends his free time working on, cleaning, driving, and enjoying cars in any way he can. He also spends his summer weekends out on the lakes up north as much as possible.
Senior Associate
Beatrice always knew she wanted to pursue a career in finance. To make it happen, she worked hard to support her education, graduating from George Brown College’s Financial Management program, with a specialization in financial planning, in 2012. Not long after, she joined RBC Dominion Securities.
For the last decade, Beatrice has built a solid foundational knowledge of the industry. After working for different branches and advisor teams, she brought her valuable skill set to The Knudson Wealth Group in 2017.
Today, as a Senior Associate, and the front line of our practice, Beatrice fields all incoming requests, from opening accounts to submitting money transfers to conducting administrative changes. Nothing slips through the cracks on Beatrice’s watch – clients and colleagues alike can count on her efficiency and professionalism in all interactions.
Committed to continual learning, Beatrice has obtained the Level 1 Certification in Financial Planning from FP Canada and, more recently, completed the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) Course.
In her spare time, Beatrice enjoys travelling and tennis – whether she’s playing on the court, watching a game or admiring the latest tennis fashion trends.
