Kerby has been in the investment industry since 2004 and brings over 19 years of investment experience to her role as Investment Counsellor with RBC PH&N Investment Counsel. She specializes in constructing and managing customized discretionary investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, corporations and not-for-profit organizations.
Kerby believes in building strong and lasting relationships with each of her clients by getting to know them on a personal level. This allows her to develop a deeper understanding of their unique needs and provide investment and wealth management solutions that are tailored to them. She works closely with her clients and their families to construct customized portfolios based on their financial circumstances, investment objectives, and long-term goals at all stages of their lives. In addition to working with her clients’ legal and tax advisors, Kerby draws upon a team of in-house experts in the areas of tax, business succession, and estate planning, to deliver clients a comprehensive wealth management experience.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Vancouver, Kerby earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honours from the University of British Columbia. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Vancouver.
Outside of the office, Kerby is actively involved in various mentorship programs to help women and young people pursue a career in the finance industry. Since 2019, she is also proud to be serving as the President of the Vancouver chapter of Ascend Canada, a not-for-profit organization focused on developing and advancing Pan-Asians to leadership roles. On the weekends, she enjoys gardening and the outdoors with her husband and 1.5 year old son.
