Hugh has over 32 years of experience with RBC Dominion Securities helping clients reach their financial goals. As a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor he offers superior investment advice and comprehensive wealth management for his clients.
Earlier in his career Hugh was part of the management team at RBC Dominion Securities and established himself as one of the firm’s most accomplished leaders. Under his guidance the offices he managed were the Branch of the Year in the country a remarkable eleven times.
As a lifelong learner Hugh has continued to build upon his Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from the University of Toronto. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM). He also obtained an Executive Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame.
Hugh also believes in giving back to the community and in the importance of service to others. Hugh is currently on the Board of Directors at the Canadian Sports Institute of Ontario and the Notre Dame Club of Toronto. He is also part of the Saint John Ambulance Therapy Dog program with Saint John Ambulance taking his dog “Rudy” on regular visits to long term care facilities and schools providing emotional support to those in need. Previously he was Vice Chair Board of Directors at Food Banks Mississauga and has been active with his volunteer efforts for the Hospital for Sick Children, Habitat for Humanity, and Boys and Girls Club of Peel.
