Bruce Wannamaker has extensive experience in managing assets for high net worth families, foundations, charitable organizations and estate and trusts. He works comprehensively with his clients to develop wealth management solutions to help them establish, accumulate, preserve and transition their wealth. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management - PH&N Investment Counsel, Bruce was a senior portfolio manager with a major Canadian Bank.
Bruce has worked in the industry since 1992 and has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) professional designations. In addition, he has completed the Professional Financial Planning Course (PFP), the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Toronto CFA Society and the CFA Institute. As well, he has graded CFA examination papers in Charlottesville, Virginia for the CFA Institute.
He has been involved in a number of organizations over the years including serving on the board of the Canadian Culinary Federation, mentoring with St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School's Robotics Team, the Burlington Community Foundation, the Burlington Chamber of Commerce and the Port Credit Figure Skating Club. He currently is a member of the Girls in STEM Executive Council.
