Private Banker
Christopher Chen brings more than 8 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role as Private Banker. He provides comprehensive financial management for private clients and their families throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
His diverse career, which includes experience in both personal and commercial banking has provided Mr. Chen with the ability to serve his clients through all stages of their financial lives. Working with a relatively small client base allows him to act as a true financial partner, and he provides in-depth financial advice to senior executives, business owners and their families, consulting with their legal, tax and insurance advisors when appropriate.
Mr. Chen designs sophisticated banking, investment and flexible short- and long-term credit solutions for his clients. Through RBC he works with a team of specialists in Canada and in key markets worldwide to provide a complete range of services - including investments, business banking, will and estate planning and domestic and international trusts - to meet each client's specific needs.
Committed to continuous learning, Mr. Chen is currently working toward his Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) designation. He has earned an Economics degree from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Smith School of Business, Queen's University and is a certified Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®) from the Corporate Finance Institute.
Mr. Chen is an active member of the business community and participates actively with the Vancouver Board of Trade, BC Taiwanese Business Association, and the Canada-China Business Council. He spends much of his spare time with friends and family and enjoys the outdoors, travelling, hiking, and biking.

With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry with RBC, Dianna helps clients with her in-depth knowledge and valued advice on integrated wealth management solutions to simplify and enhance their lives. From her previous roles within RBC, Dianna brings a strong understanding of credit structures enabling her to effectively meet the credit needs of her clients.
Prior to joining RBC, Dianna managed her family business, which has provided her an ideal foundation for the work she does today in assisting clients meet their liquidity needs, in tax and estate planning, leveraged strategies, risk management, and in support of their business operations.
She frequently collaborates with external partners and advisors across RBC to deliver customized and complex credit solutions to meet clients’ financial goals. Dianna and her team aim to build long-term relationships with their clients based on confidence, integrity, trust, communication, and confidentiality. Dianna holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree with a specialization in finance and marketing from Carleton University in Ottawa and is currently finalizing her Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation. When not working or studying, she enjoys travel, outdoor sports and giving back to her community.
Will & Estate Specialist
Grace received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 2000 and graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2003.
She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2004. Prior to joining RBC, Grace practised law in Vancouver, specializing in estate planning and estate administration. Most recently, Grace worked at a hospital foundation advising the charity on legal matters as well as its donors on charitable giving.
Grace is a member of the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section and Charities Section. She is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Phylicia graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics). She has over 24 years of industry experience and has leveraged the necessary technical and business development skills to provide clients with the right solutions for their unique circumstances.

As a Premier Banking Advisor for Vancouver, Debby Tay works as a single point of contact, providing banking and credit solutions for select clients of Wealth Management Canada and their families. Partnering with Investment Advisors and Counsellors across the region, she provides personalized service and tailored advice to help clients save time and effectively manage their day-to-day banking needs.
With 9 years' of experience in financial services at RBC, Debby is respected by her clients, her peers and the industry, and has received top performer recognition. Debby is committed to giving back to her community and hosts fundraising campaigns for BC Children Hospital and the Food Bank. Born and raised in Malaysia, Debby relocated to Canada in 2008 to complete her undergraduate degree. She now holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simon Fraser University.
