Women In Wealth Management

"We recognize that retaining and advancing women is important to the future growth of our business, and that it will help us provide a superior client experience. Therefore, it is a priority at RBC Dominion Securities to help women succeed, and make our firm a great place for them to run a successful and rewarding wealth management practice"

Women in Wealth Management

As our clients have evolved, so has our business. Our firm has diversified greatly and we have made tremendous progress thanks to the women who make it happen. We are not only here to give clients advice, but also to make a change in their whole financial life.

Here at RBC Dominion Securities, it is crucial that our workforce reflects our clients’ experiences and perspectives. Now that women are managing their households and finances more than ever before, we strive to give clients that opportunity by having advisors who can relate to them on every level.

Here are some testimonies from women at DS, Etobicoke:

I am a woman advisor who left a competitor firm after 25 years’ service, and took a leap of faith after meeting senior management at RBC Wealth Management on their vision of increasing women in the industry. I can safely say that I am happy with the move

Wealth Management celebrates women advisor’s each year on International Women’s Day with a day dedicated to recognizing our contributions and inviting speakers to talk about issues that impact us.

Finding the right “home” at RBC Wealth Management is important, and I found it in the Etobicoke office. Our group of advisors comes from a diverse background, ethnicity, and we have 20% women advisors and this number is increasing.

Rachel D’Agostino –Investment Advisor

As one of the women advisors at Etobicoke RBC Dominion Securities, I am proud to say that we are making a difference in our client’s lives. We often bring an unique financial and investment perspective compare to our male colleagues. My hope is that we can encourage more young professional women to take on this profession as an advisor. It is a career that brings great satisfaction and fulfillment. You have the ability to help families to reach their goals and aspirations.

Wendy Chung – Investment Advisor

Some words of encouragement for women who want to start the path of becoming an advisor:

It is important to know who you are, your purpose and believe in yourself. If being in the financial industry is your passion, take the chance, and get excellent at it until you reach your peak. That also means figuring out what your strengths are and working to get better at it one day at a time. Surround yourself with positive people, whom encourage you to become successful and are there with you every step of the way.
