Branch Director
Paul Lauer leads the Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound and Port Elgin branches, offering outstanding support to the advisors and their teams, so they can offer you the best service possible. He prides himself on identifying opportunities and resolving challenges strategically and speedily, and always has his ear to the ground for potential efficiencies and improvements. He also focuses on recruiting and coaching staff members.
To guide his branch staff to success, Paul draws on his expert knowledge and almost 20 years of banking, investment and wealth management experience, including previous positions as a Personal Banker, Investment Advisor and Assistant Branch Director. Paul is a graduate of Lakehead University, and a firm believer in ongoing education. He is fully licensed after completing industry courses like the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), Wealth Management Essentials (WME), Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) and his Options licensing course. He has also acquired the advanced industry designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Paul’s breadth of experience, expertise, and credentials serve him well in his mission to offer you a best-in-class wealth management service that continually improves.
Paul and his wife Maria live in Collingwood with their two sons, Stefano and Marcus.
Associate Branch Director
Justin assists Paul Lauer in supporting the Barrie, Orillia, Owen Sound and Port Elgin branch staff. He helps set up advisors and their teams for success through established best practices as well as innovative leadership.
To excel in his mandate, Justin leans on his expertise and 12 years of experience, including a previous position at RBC Global Asset Management as District Vice President, Northern Ontario. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Justin obtained a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organization Studies with a specialization in Finance.
