As a team, we recognize there is power in multiple perspectives. Ours has been formed through decades of financial experience, advanced industry designations, and the extensive resources of RBC, Canada’s leading wealth management firm.
Portfolio Manager & Financial Planner
“The key to being a great advisor is being a great listener,” says Jessica. Over the last 25 years, Jessica has cultivated this important skill while building her operational and analytical expertise. As an experienced portfolio manager and financial planner, and one of our team’s leaders, Jessica is known for her compassionate, decisive, and honest approach to wealth management.
Jessica’s process is deeply rooted in understanding the individual wealth needs of her clients and their families. Recognizing that every client has unique goals, timelines, family dynamics, and priorities, she takes the time to listen, understand, and then come up with a flexible plan that meets their long-term aspirations.
Having previously worked in senior management for various investment firms, and as an assistant branch manager for RBC Dominion Securities’ London branch, Jessica has a sophisticated, well-rounded knowledge of the many aspects of wealth management.
With a bachelor in sociology from Western University, Jessica has continued to enhance her education by completing the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) program and achieving the esteemed Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
When she’s not in the office, Jessica likes to stay active, whether that’s walking her two golden retrievers (Clarke and Oscar), going for a run, or getting involved in her local community. She is Chair for the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
Senior Portfolio Manager
For Randy, connecting with people is his favourite part of the job – it also happens to result in better advice for his clients. “Every client’s situation and concerns are unique, and I can only provide real value if I understand those key issues from their perspective,” he says.
As one of the leaders of our practice, Randy has established himself as a portfolio manager who is both disciplined and caring. “I have a tremendous responsibility,” he shares. “In most cases, I’m dealing with people’s entire life savings, and that’s often irreplaceable.”
Over his 30-plus-year career, Randy’s perspective on the industry has significantly evolved. He takes great pride in his timeless approach to investing, and he often refers back to this quote from David Chilton in The Wealthy Barber Returns: “If your financial success is contingent on predicting the future, you’re in trouble.”
A graduate of Western University’s Ivey Business School, Randy gained valuable experience in sales, marketing, and advertising before joining financial services in 1991. He has since earned his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and he formerly worked as a branch manager in RBC Dominion Securities’ Woodstock office.
Born in London, Ontario and raised in beautiful Huron County, Randy now resides in Barrie with his partner, Marcy. He is passionate about music and songwriting. Always one to put his heart and soul into any project, Randy has led several community initiatives, from creating a charity cycling team that raised more than $300,000 for Gilda’s Club, to co-founding two “Battle of the Bands” events that have raised more than $2,000,000 for local charities, including Wellspring London and Region, the MacLaren Art Centre, and Royal Victoria Hospital. More recently, he and Marcy co-founded the non-profit organization Guitars to Kids, which collects and refurbishes used guitars and provides them free-of-charge to youth in the Simcoe/Muskoka region.
Associate Advisor
“There’s no better feeling than knowing that a client will be able to meet all of their goals with your financial plan,” says Colin. As an associate advisor, Colin facilitates detailed financial planning and client onboarding. Known for being personable, proficient, and genuine, he prides himself on providing exceptional client service.
Although Colin didn’t initially plan to pursue a career in financial services, what he learned along the way has undeniably shaped the way he approaches wealth. After graduating from the University of Windsor, he aspired to become a lawyer, but unexpectedly found himself redirected. Instead, he paid his way through Fanshawe College’s Professional Financial Services program, inspiring him to help other students dealing with student debt.
Since joining the team in 2017, Colin has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) Course, and has obtained the Qualified Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) designation.
Colin grew up just outside of Windsor and now resides in London. In his off time, he enjoys being active. He is passionate about all sports, particularly football, volleyball, and golf.

“It really means a lot to me to be able to help others navigate a very daunting industry and give them the peace of mind that their finances are in the most capable of hands,” says Sophie. As an administrative assistant, Sophie ensures that our team’s process is as streamlined as possible. Often the first point of contact for client inquiries, Sophie vows that if she can’t find the answer, she’ll find the person on the team who can.
Prior to joining the financial industry in 2022, Sophie gained invaluable customer service experience as a server, where she learned just how much she loves working with people. “Serving has taught me to always uphold my very best level of service to customers and clients alike, and always strive to improve it,” she says.
Today, she enjoys helping our lead advisors grow their business by taking care of all the little details and providing outstanding client service. Building on her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University, Sophie has since completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
Having grown up in London, Sophie saw firsthand how her parents got involved in the community as the owners of a small business: a hair salon called Chez Cheveux, located on Richmond Row. This instilled in her the importance of financial literacy as well as the importance of buying and shopping local. In addition, Sophie is a strong advocate for mental health and fighting against homelessness.
