Yarek is a very conscientious and knowledgeable Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor who is noted as a trusted professional within the investment industry for over 25 years.


As a portfolio manager, Yarek builds out investment models that are applied to accounts, backed by professional oversight from RBC Dominions Securities, on the basis of specific objectives and investment risk criteria. His disciplined approach with a personal touch and high integrity, entrusts clients in building long-term relationships knowing that Yarek has a clear understanding of their goals and needs.


To accomplish this at a deeper level, Yarek, in his role as a Wealth Advisor, and his team utilize Wealth Consultants within RBC Dominion Securities when navigating and guiding clients through their financial decision-making. Intergenerational and organizational wealth building is incorporated to comprehensively address all needs and life goals.


His previous roles in personal and commercial banking, as well as being a former successful small business owner/manager give him a distinct edge when dealing with business owners as a designated Business Owner Specialist. Significant achievements for Yarek at RBC Dominion Securities include being titled as a Vice-President and being part of the Director’s Council since 2018.


In addition to holding an Honours Bachelor Science Degree from the University of Waterloo, Yarek holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting (Algoma University) and Masters in Business Administration (LSSU). In 2016, Yarek attained a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation as a precursor to becoming a Portfolio Manager. Life Insurance credentials also allow Yarek to provide enhanced wealth planning strategies to clients and their families.


Yarek is passionate about his clients, his community and his family.  He became a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Rotary Club in 2019, and previous extensive community involvement (Please refer to the community involvement tab). When not working or volunteering, Yarek and his wife Myra spend time with their two young adult daughters travelling, skiing, kayaking and enjoying cottage life.

Matthew joined the Yarek Mlynarczyk Wealth Management Group in November of 2020. He brings to the team a wealth of knowledge in personal banking, including in an Advisory role.  He has a particular knowledge of personal and corporate tax preparation and audit services.  Matthew completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) from Algoma University, with a specialization in Accounting. 

Matt is involved in all aspects of team tasks; not only does he assist with portfolio reviews, client inquiries and administration, but he is also involved in product research and portfolio development.

In his spare time, Matt enjoys downhill skiing, and is an avid football and hockey fan!

Kelly Sloss

Kelly is our licensed Associate Wealth Advisor who is responsible for identifying wealth management strategies for our clients. This includes facilitating client financial projection presentations, coordinating meetings with our valued Wealth Planning consultants, assisting with the administration of insurance solutions, and managing the personalized wealth planning roadmap for each client. In addition to this, she also works on the administration of discretionary accounts and marketing and business development initiatives for the team.

Kelly brings to us her wide range of experience in management, administration, sales, consulting, and counselling. She had a deep knowledge of life, disability, and critical illness insurance as well as investment products and financial planning options. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 2001 with an Honours Bachelor in Anthropology and has completed Canadian Securities Certification.

Kelly and her two daughters – eleven and eight years old - enjoy travelling together and summers at their family cottage on Lake Superior.

Maggie Waters

As our newest team member, Maggie is our first point of contact for booking appointments, and processing client requests such as deposits, withdrawals, duplicate statements or tax slips, and other client inquiries.

Maggie comes to us with a wealth of customer service experience, and is currently working towards her Canadian Securities Course (CSC).


Having grown up in some of the most northern areas in Canada, Maggie has a passion for nature. She is an avid hiker and swimmer, and loves exploring the outdoors.

Myra Mlynarczyk

Myra is the person who keeps the team and the office on track. Her responsibilities are administrative support to our team. This includes document preparation, appointment scheduling, client inquiries and follow-up.

Myra is an executive administration program graduate from Sault College.  She has thirty year’s experience in the administrative and customer service industry.

During her spare time Myra enjoys spending quality time with her family, spending time outdoors doing activities like kayaking, travel and cottage life.
