Our team believes strongly in the power of educating through experience. For nearly three decades, we've employed students from the University of Manitoba's commerce program on a part-time basis, allowing them to gain valuable industry knowledge while completing their schooling.

As founder and senior portfolio manager at Winestock Childerhouse Wealth, Paul has spent more than four decades building long-lasting relationships with our clients based on a foundation of trust and transparency. Paul's passion for investments and tracking markets is evident in his work, and he takes great pride in being entrusted with someone's wealth. He has dedicated his career to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest industry trends and investment strategies, and, as a member of our investment committee, plays an active role in the management of client portfolios.
Paul's commitment to his clients and the financial industry has earned him recognition as one of the leading investment advisors nationally. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in finance from the University of Manitoba and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), the highest honour in the Canadian investment industry.

Paul is a sports fan and an active supporter of Rady JCC Ken Kronson Annual Sports Dinner, which has contributed to the many jerseys he proudly hangs in his office in Winnipeg.
Paul and his wife, Jackie, have recently become grandparents – they have one granddaughter and one grandson.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and travelling south to Palm Springs.
Danny Childerhouse is a co-founder and driving force behind Winestock Childerhouse Wealth. With over 25 years of experience, Danny has built and led one of the most respected wealth management teams in the country, recognized for its strategic thinking, personalized service, and deep commitment to clients and community.
As a Senior Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor, Danny brings an integrated and forward-thinking approach to wealth management. He leverages the full strength of RBC Dominion Securities and a national network of specialists to design tailored strategies for families, business owners, Indigenous communities, and not-for-profit institutions. Danny believes true wealth extends beyond numbers, it’s about building legacy, fostering connection, and aligning financial decisions with what matters most. A gifted strategist and mentor, Danny is known for his clarity of vision and ability to inspire others into meaningful action. He plays an active leadership role in setting the team’s direction, mentoring team members to reach their highest potential, and delivering exceptional outcomes for clients through insight, structure, and care.
Danny sits on the team’s investment committee and oversees our portfolio management process. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s Bachelor of Commerce program and holds both the CIM® (Chartered Investment Manager) and FMA (Financial Management Advisor) designations. He is also life insurance and options licensed.

Danny and his wife, Christele, are the proud parents of Danik and Neven and enjoy spending time outdoors together as a family.
A former competitive athlete and member of Team Canada in 10-pin bowling, Danny is passionate about all sports with a current focus on coaching his kids and golfing.
In his free time, Danny enjoys woodworking and construction projects, always seeking new challenges.
Danny originally joined the team as a summer student in 2001. Today, he leads it with vision, care, and purpose.
Associate Portfolio Manager
Kai started with RBC Royal Bank in 2012, joined Winestock Childerhouse Wealth in 2015, and is a member of the Winestock Childerhouse Wealth investment committee. Kai works closely with Paul and Danny to construct, monitor, and rebalance our clients' portfolios and help them reach their financial goals. Kai is passionate about staying up-to-date on market conditions and economic data; he diligently analyzes current and potential investment strategies and solutions on behalf of our clients.
Kai completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Manitoba with majors in finance and marketing. In 2018, Kai earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is currently a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Winnipeg. Kai is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder.

Away from the office, Kai and his wife, Rachel, enjoy going for hikes in the summer, travelling to warmer destinations in the winter, and volunteering.
Kai is heavily involved in his local community and loves to give back as much as he can.
During the summer, Kai enjoys staying active on the golf course and is a member of Glendale Golf and Country Club.
Kai is a proud member of Peguis First Nation.
Tyler takes pride in helping high-net-worth families and business owners align their goals, priorities, and strategies with their long-term objectives for retirement and estate management. He enjoys working with individuals to understand their unique needs so he can outline highly personalized, comprehensive strategies for tax-efficient estate planning. Tyler has been a valuable member of Winestock Childerhouse Wealth since 2010.
Tyler received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 2012 with majors in both finance and management information systems. He holds his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation and, in 2021, earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Partnering with many units of RBC and a talented roster of specialists, Tyler continually strives to surpass his clients’ personal wealth management expectations and business succession goals.

In his spare time, Tyler enjoys checking out local theatre, with a special interest toward improv and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
Tyler enjoys getting together with family and friends for an evening of board games – he never wins, but is determined to keep trying.
Kara is an experienced financial professional with nearly two decades of industry experience. Prior to joining the Winestock Childerhouse Wealth team, she spent 9 years supporting RBC clients, their families, and their businesses, as well as internal business partners across all departments of RBC. As an essential part of our team, Kara focuses her time on financial literacy, relationship management, financial planning, and family office services.
Kara is passionate about financial wellness and literacy for all Canadians and utilizes her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and experience to provide relevant and valuable advice to all those she works with. She is passionate about lifelong learning and personal well-being and always strives to be her best. Her dedication, care, and empathy toward her clients and colleagues are evident in all that she does.

Kara and her husband, Wes, have a very active family that can be found at hockey rinks in the winter and at the lake during the summer.
Kara loves an adventure, whether it be with her family or friends, big or small. Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote, "Life is a journey, not a destination," is one of Kara's favourites and sums up her approach to life.
Erica Santos plays a pivotal leadership role at Winestock Childerhouse Wealth, where she oversees team operations, drives high-performance standards, and serves as a strategic consultant for clients. As a certified Responsible Investment Advisor via RIA and investment policy specialist, Erica spearheads tailored best practice educational sessions, proposal creation, and governance-based strategies for our Indigenous, not-for-profit, and family office clients.
Since joining the team in 2016, Erica has helped improve operations, build scalable systems, and assisted the team reach sustainable high performance. Erica holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with distinction from the University of Manitoba, with majors in finance and accounting. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Outside of the office, Erica is passionate about conscious leadership, global collaboration, and personal vitality.
She enjoys hiking, meditative practices, and attending high-level conferences around the world.
An essential member of our team since 2015, Benji draws on his considerable organizational skills to take care of portfolio reviews, address inquiries, and advise on general administration. He is committed to boosting clients' financial confidence and supporting client needs by offering proactive advice, customized recommendations, and preparing them for retirement. Benji also assists in providing private clients with financial projections.
Benji received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 2015, where he majored in finance and marketing. Since graduation, Benji has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) course, the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course, and the Advanced Investment Strategies (AIS) course.

Away from work, Benji enjoys spending time with his wife, Gabi, and their two kids Mavis and Mickey.
Benji is committed to giving back to his community and is a board member for several local organizations, including the Chevra Mishnayes Synagogue, the Kadima Dance Company, and the Chesed Shel Emes (Jewish burial society). He also sits as a committee member on the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba's grant committee.
Chad works closely with members of the Investment Committee to support the development of team’s strategies and construction of client portfolios. He is responsible for ongoing rebalancing and managing cash raise requests, helping to ensure portfolios remain aligned with client goals and market conditions.

Chad enjoys being active and plays both ultimate and hockey.
Outside of work, Chad loves to spend time with friends, listen to music, and play the piano.
Katie plays a key role in delivering a seamless client experience by onboarding new clients, managing fund movements, and coordinating account transfers. She also supports client engagement efforts and resolves complex administrative issues with efficiency and care. Katie graduated from the Asper School of Business in 2022, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba with majors in finance and accounting. She has continued her education and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) course through the Canadian Securities Institute. She is also a CFA level II candidate.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys traveling to new places and trying new foods.
In the summer, she likes to spend her time outside and play golf & tennis.
Daniela assists in preparing client proposal presentations and provides ongoing internal support to meet both client and team needs efficiently. She supports onboarding processes and handles a range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Daniela graduated from the Asper School of Business in 2024, receiving a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba with majors in finance and accounting. She is a CFA level II candidate and is working towards completing her Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) course through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Daniela enjoys snowboarding in the winter and spending time at the lake with her friends in the summer.
She spends her summer downtime helping run a small family Boler business.
Parth is currently working with Winestock Childerhouse Wealth on a part-time basis while he completes his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Manitoba. He assists our team with account reporting, documentation, meeting coordination, and other general administrative tasks.

Parth grew up in a small town in India named Jagadhri and moved to Winnipeg after completing high school.
In his free time, Parth likes to play guitar and sing – he used to be in a band back in India.
Jordyn is currently working with Winestock Childerhouse Wealth on a part-time basis while she completes her Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Manitoba. She assists the team with meeting coordination, expense management, documentation, as well as other administrative and marketing items.

Jordyn grew up in Airdrie, Alberta and moved to Manitoba in High school.
In her spare time, Jordyn enjoys being outside and spending time with her friends and family.
