How my Mother's struggle gave me strength

Life has thrown a few hard punches my way, but as my mother who passed-away when I was 17 years old, after a 6 year battle with breast cancer taught me, always keep fighting. My close friend passed away from brain cancer shortly after. And,  I myself faced a life-threatening situation over ten years ago, while my wife was pregnant with my youngest daughter. What followed next was the 2008 financial crisis, the worst financial meltdown since the Great Depression. I used my Mother's courage as motivation and took up the sport of boxing, which helped me build the motivation to take on the bear markets in 2008 posting one of the best years of my career, and still today have not looked back.
