Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
“Yvonne and her team have grown into one of the leading advisor teams in the country, a testament to her relentless pursuit of putting clients first and providing the best possible advice for their families.” – David Agnew, CEO RBC Wealth Management Canada
Immigrating to Canada from China at the age of eight was a foundational experience for Yvonne – one that has shaped her outlook on life, and finance. She started working at the age of nine. By 15, she had two jobs and was already investing. Understanding the importance of an education, Yvonne went on to put herself through school and graduated from the University of Toronto with an honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Now among the top 1% of Investment Advisors at RBC, Yvonne has managed wealth for affluent families and business owners since 1998. She enjoys the privilege of loving her day job, taking a hands-on approach to create your financial plan, building close ties with you and your family, and guiding you through every stage in life. If you’re looking for expert financial advice from a committed professional you know and trust, you will find it with Yvonne.
Yvonne is known for her visionary leadership, courageous contribution, and commitment to community legacy, which has earned her the prestigious Jill Max Award. Yvonne is a proud member of our firm’s Women’s Advisory Board, a post that enables her to share her deep insights and passion for service excellence with fellow women advisors. In the past, she has also sat on the Dominion Securities Advisory Board, a platform that allowed her to collaborate with our senior management to continually improve the client experience. Part of these experiences, at least as Yvonne approaches them, is continual financial education for every member of your family. Whether at her office or your dining room table, she loves to give lessons in finance and get everyone aligned on the intergenerational wealth strategy we’ve designed for you.
Yvonne’s love of teaching extends into her community work, as a volunteer with financial literacy organization FuturFund. She is fortunate enough to be a regular speaker, volunteer, and donor for United Way’s Women United, a program empowering women and youth to overcome poverty and abuse. Yvonne has found a lot of fulfilment helping good, hard-working people carve out their own path to success.
Yvonne and her husband, Tony, are the proud and fortunate parents of two wonderful sons. As a family, they enjoy travelling and spending time at the cottage with their countless cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Associate Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner
Aeyoung has worked for RBC since 2002 and, like Yvonne, began her career as a bank teller. She worked her way up to more senior positions by keeping an open mind and pursuing avenues she was most passionate about. Along the way, her favourite part of her day continued to be working one-on-one with clients to help them discover and meet their needs. That’s why Aeyoung eventually made the switch to wealth management, to work more closely with clients.
Aeyoung joined us in 2008 and her diverse background in finance has made her a go-to resource for our entire team – she can expertly execute just about every complex task we encounter.
A caring advocate for our clients’ best interests, Aeyoung is exceptionally skilled at engaging our clients in conversations about their goals and long-term needs. The people she helps and forms meaningful connections with are the most rewarding part of her work. Transitioning into her current role of helping investors reach their life goals has been a perfect fit.
On our team, Aeyoung works alongside Yvonne as a “co-pilot” in constructing and managing your portfolio to ensure it aligns with your goals. She most enjoys being able to guide clients through complicated financial decisions and volatile markets. Aeyoung prioritizes your knowledge and comfort, and many of our clients count on her for questions related to the economy, their investment portfolio, and financial planning.
Committed to and inspired by professional development, Aeyoung holds the Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations.
Whether at work or after hours, Aeyoung has always enjoyed being part of a team and, in her spare time, she paddles dragon boat and outrigger canoe. In fact, Aeyoung is assistant coach of the RBC Dragon Boat team, and has paddled on several nationally leading dragon boat teams.
Jessica immigrated to Canada in 2003. Her passion for learning and incredible work ethic quickly began opening doors in the financial services industry.
After taking a job with a major Canadian bank, nearly every countless free hour she had was spent studying. “I love to learn,” she will often say. “To this day, my children ask me – “Mummy, when is your next exam day?”
She worked her way up to a role as senior financial advisor and financial planner, where she managed and served over 200 high-net-worth families, creating financial solutions using investments, credit, cash flow management, and insurance.
Now, she feels fortunate to be a part of each client’s complete financial journey, getting to know their families, planning for their future, and guiding them every step of the way. Jessica is passionate about providing exemplary client service and helping you with your financial planning needs. She will work alongside you to articulate, implement, and update your short- and long-term financial goals, and be available to address all your investment- and account-related inquiries.
As a fully licensed Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC), Jessica is a natural problem-solver. Her favourite part of her job is diving into and simplifying an especially complicated financial structure – the kind that often comes with substantial wealth. She is also fluent in English and Mandarin.
Outside of the office, Jessica can often be found studying. In her spare time, though, she enjoys connecting with family and friends, reading, and exploring the city.

Elyce approaches every day with the same curiosity that her optometrist parents instilled in her at a young age, seeking out solutions to ensure that every client she meets is fully confident in their financial journey. It’s a strategy that has proven to work exceptionally well in her career thus far, propelling her upwards over the last decade and a half from a teller to an assistant investment advisor at a major financial institution.
Elyce, who joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2021, loves the world of wealth management, specifically the relationship-building opportunities it provides. A self-described people person, Elyce is always beaming with her signature smile, whether she’s researching new wealth strategies, collaborating with our team, or going above and beyond to support a client.
In addition to her 15 years of industry experience, Elyce leans on her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University with a double major in economics and law.
Outside of work, Elyce enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Phil, and her children, Oliver and Piper.
Joe joined the financial services industry in 2008 – a turbulent and uncertain time for capital markets. He immediately enjoyed acting as a supportive guide to investors, and since then has gained a great deal of experience helping them navigate financial decisions through various market conditions.
An integral part of our team since 2017, Joe manages the vast range of daily operations. You can rely on him to discuss matters related to the markets and your investment portfolio, or to conduct trade orders, contributions, and withdrawals. He is responsible for implementing your personalized investment strategy, preparing documentation for your review meetings, and working closely with your accountant around tax season.
Joe finds his work extremely fulfilling. “To succeed in this industry, I believe you have to be passionate about what you do and how you’re helping people. I’m lucky to come into work with a group of people who also think that way.”
Yang joined our team in 2021, bringing with him several years of investment analysis experience from multiple financial service and investment management firms. Relying on his analytical skills, Yang plays an integral part in providing you financial peace of mind.
Operating behind the scenes, Yang researches the myriad elements that may impact the markets – and thus your portfolio. “It’s not just about knowing what’s going on in the markets, it’s about understanding why it’s happening,” he says. Yang is proficient at interpreting minor shifts and macro trends alike, but just as important, he is adept at translating the world of investing into concise, actionable information for client-facing reports.
Yang has completed all three levels in his pursuit of becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, as well as all his Financial Risk Manager (FRM) exams. He also holds a Master of Financial Risk Management from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Mathematics/Business Administration from the University of Waterloo.
In his off hours, Yang enjoys spending time with friends, playing sports, including soccer, basketball, and golf.
