Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
“Yvonne and her team have grown into one of the leading advisor teams in the country, a testament to her relentless pursuit of putting clients first and providing the best possible advice for their families.” – David Agnew, CEO RBC Wealth Management Canada
Immigrating to Canada from China at the age of eight was a foundational experience for Yvonne – one that has shaped her outlook on life, and finance. She started working at the age of nine. By 15, she had two jobs and was already investing. Understanding the importance of an education, Yvonne went on to put herself through school and graduate from the University of Toronto with an honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
Now among the top 1% of Investment Advisors at RBC, Yvonne has managed wealth for affluent families and business owners since 1998. She enjoys the privilege of loving her day job, taking a hands-on approach to creating your financial plan, building close ties with you and your family, and guiding you through every stage in life. If you’re looking for expert financial advice from a committed professional you know and trust, you will find it with Yvonne.
Yvonne is a member of the Dominion Securities Advisory Board – a platform that allows her to collaborate with our senior management to continually improve the client experience. Part of that experience, at least as Yvonne approaches it, is continual financial education for every member of your family. Whether at her office or your dining room table, she loves to give lessons in finance and get everyone aligned on the intergenerational wealth strategy we’ve designed for you.
Yvonne’s love of teaching extends beyond her clients and into her community work, as a mentor to new Investment Advisors, and a volunteer with financial literacy organization FuturFund. She is fortunate enough to be a regular speaker, volunteer, and donor for United Way’s Women United, a program empowering women and youth to overcome poverty and abuse. Yvonne has found a lot of fulfilment helping good, hard-working people carve out their own path to success.
Yvonne and her husband, Tony, are the proud and fortunate parents of two wonderful sons. As a family, they enjoy travelling and spending time at the cottage with their countless cousins, uncles, and aunts.
Associate Wealth Advisor & Financial Planner
Aeyoung has worked for RBC since 2002 and, like Yvonne, began her career as a bank teller. She worked her way up to more senior positions by keeping an open mind and pursuing avenues she was most passionate about. Along the way, her favourite part of her day continued to be working one-on-one with clients to help them discover and meet their needs. That’s why Aeyoung eventually made the switch to wealth management, to work more closely with clients.
Aeyoung joined us in 2008 and her diverse background in finance has made her a goto resource for our entire team – she can expertly execute just about every complex task we encounter.
A caring advocate for our clients’ best interests, Aeyoung is exceptionally skilled at engaging our clients in conversations about their goals and long-term needs. The people she helps and forms meaningful connections with are the most rewarding part of her work. Transitioning into her current role of helping investors reach their life goals has been a perfect fit.
On our team, Aeyoung works alongside Yvonne as a “co-pilot” in constructing and managing your portfolio to ensure it aligns with your goals. She most enjoys being able to guide clients through complicated financial decisions and volatile markets. Aeyoung prioritizes your knowledge and comfort, and many of our clients count on her for questions related to the economy, their investment portfolio, and financial planning.
Committed to and inspired by professional development, Aeyoung holds the Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) designations.
Whether at work or after hours, Aeyoung has always enjoyed being part of a team and, in her spare time, she paddles dragon boat and outrigger canoe. In fact, Aeyoung is assistant coach of the RBC Dragon Boat team, and has paddled on several nationally leading dragon boat teams.

A fully licensed Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC), Jessica is a natural problem-solver.
