Grant Henri, CFP, PFP, Pl. Fin., TEP

Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Québecois de Planification Financière to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec. Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto. Grant identifies strategies and solutions on structuring your affairs in a manner that addresses your overall wealth planning needs.


Mark Skeggs, CPA, CA, CFP, TEP
Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services

Prior to joining RBC, Mark spent over 14 years in the High Net Worth Tax group of a Big 4 accounting firm in Toronto. Acting as a trusted business advisor for Ultra High Net Worth families, Mark was responsible for the creation and implementation of effective strategies for wealth preservation and accumulation in the context of tax, estate and succession planning for owner-managers of private companies, senior executives of public companies and professional athletes.

Mark is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner. He has completed the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Advance Certificate in Family Business Advising, all three levels of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, as well as the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business Course and the Corporate Reorganizations Course. Mark has served as Chair of the Board of Evaluators for CPA Ontario and Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ontario.


Ken Mau, CPA, CA

Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services

Ken collaborates with families and their professional advisors to formulate wealth planning strategies that will help achieve their financial goals. These include tax and estate planning, business succession planning, trust and fiduciary planning and international wealth transfer strategies and solutions. With over 10 years of experience in serving private clients immigrating from abroad, Ken discusses wealth planning for newcomers to Canada through his broad knowledge and expertise in international and multi-jurisdictional tax, estate and trust planning.

Ken qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989 and is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He is a frequent speaker at numerous well attended international and domestic forums and seminars for ultra/high-net-worth audiences.


James Wong, CPA, CA, CBV
Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services

James spent the majority of his career in various capacities advising owners of privately held businesses. Prior to joining RBC, he spent 12 years at another major national financial institution as the Vice President of Succession Planning. In that role, James developed several best practices around succession planning that take into account the unique culture of Canadian family businesses. Many of these practices are shared in the book he co-authored, “The Transition Experience – What every Canadian family business owner should know beyond succession planning”, released in 2011.

James is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator and is a frequent presenter on business succession planning. He obtained his Masters of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.


Rebecca Henri, CFP, TEP
Financial Planning Specialist

Rebecca has been working in a financial planning capacity since 1999 and brings to her role much care in helping clients meet their goals. She holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planning Standards Council of Canada.  She is registered as a Full Life Agent with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.  Rebecca has also taught retirement planning at George Brown College in Toronto.  She works extensively with high net worth clients and has considerable expertise with more advanced tax and estate planning strategies.


Megan Brown, LL.B., TEP
Will & Estate Consultant

Megan was called to the Ontario bar in 1998. For most of the 15 years following her call to the bar, Megan was in private practice, specializing in the areas of estate planning and administration, incapacity planning, trust planning and administration, family business succession and charities law. Megan joined RBC Wealth Management in 2013.

Megan is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner with Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and has completed Levels I and II of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course. As a Will & Estate Consultant, Megan Brown provides comprehensive estate planning services to clients.


Gerry D'Souza, B.Sc., CLU, CHFC, CFP

Gerry joined RBC in 2002 and brings with him over 30 years of life insurance industry experience, including a senior management role with a leading financial institution. Gerry has acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and the Certified Financial Planner designations. Gerry taught the Life Underwriters Association Training Course, moderated the Field Management Seminar and served on the Advocis board (CAIFA). He is also active on the Advisory Board for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.
