Investment Advisor Wade Brown is a leader in his field with over 30 years of industry experience. 

Wade obtained an MA in economics from the University of Ottawa in 1980, and an MBA specializing in finance and accounting from Queen's University in 1982. Wade started his career as an investment advisor in 1983 and has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 1987. Given Wade's strong enthrusiasm for his work, he expects to continue in his investment advisor role well past normal retirement age.

Since joining the industry, Wade has achieved numerous designations, including Chartered Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. An avid student of the markets, Wade was the winner of the Canadian Securities Institute's Silver Medal and John R. Kimber Memorial Award for 1997-98 in recognition of his academic achievement in the Canadian Securities Institure's Canadian Investment Management Part II course. Wade was also the inaugural winner winner of the Ottawa Main branch Investment Advisor of the Year award in 2013.

Wade is an experienced public speaker, and has offered numerous financial planning courses at Algonquin College, the two local school boards, and the Ottawa Public Library.
