Associate Branch Director
David Fonseca, Associate Branch Director at RBC Dominion Securities, has been in the financial services industry for 35 years, after he began as an Investment Advisor before moving on the hold management positions at home and abroad.
As part of the Vancouver Royal Centre branch, David supports his team through leadership, coaching and supervision. Here, he’s cultivated a team mentality where one can take pride in developing relationships with colleagues, clients and outside professionals that extend beyond investment advice and wealth planning. David believes in the power of collaboration and actively engaging with other lines of business within RBC to deliver a full-suite of services tailored to the unique needs of clients of the branch.
As an Associate Branch Director with RBC Dominion Securities, Jason Demmit brings over 20 years of experience to the role. Since his post-university days, Jason has been a part of the financial service industry and has seen how the industry has evolved over time from retail banking to full-service investment support through places like RBC Dominion Securities.
In his role, Jason enjoys being able to help Investment Advisors and Portfolio Managers deliver a full wealth management experience to their clients. He’s inspired by the high calibre, motivated individuals he works alongside, who care deeply about serving their clients and helping new and existing clients achieve their biggest financial goals. Jason sees his role as an enabler—someone who can help others do the best they can do on the job. He prides himself on providing prompt, knowledgeable and accurate advice to his team and continually strives to add value to his branch each and every day.
An avid learner, Jason holds his BBA, CIM, FMA, and FCSI designations. He’s completed level II of the CFA program and is a strong believer in continuing education.
Branch Operations Manager
As Branch Operations Manager with RBC Dominion Securities, Leeann Kwon brings 25 years of experience to her role. On a day-to-day basis, Leeann enjoys helping clients and her fellow staff members real their goals, whether financial or professional in nature.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Leeann obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a major in history. Not long after she graduated, she began working part-time in the financial services industry and hasn’t looked back. Since then, she’s developed her role in HR (talent management and recruitment), branch operations and more.
With 12 years of solid experience in the financial services industry, Benita is committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Her previous roles within RBC include Client Advisor and Branch Operations Assistant.
Benita took on her current role five years ago, and is focused on branch operations, transactions, compliance, branch technology initiatives and premise management, among other responsibilities. She is appreciated by clients and colleagues alike for her resourcefulness, approachable nature and genuine level of care.
A big believer in lifelong learning, Benita graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a minor in Mathematics. She is also Insurance Repository (IR) licensed with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).
Away from work, Benita enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and travelling.
