Prashant is a Senior Financial Planning Consultant. He is my technical resource on tax, estate, and retirement planning issues for clients residing in Canada, USA and abroad. Prashant has over 12 years experience in personal tax and financial planning. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, he worked in the Canadian personal tax and international expatriate tax departments of KPMG and Price Waterhouse in Toronto. Prashant is an Actuary by education (B.Sc. from University in Toronto), and has received Associateship designation from the Society of Actuaries. As well, he is a Certified Financial Planner. Prashant is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Canada Taxation Committee, and a former contributing editor of the “Canadian Moneysaver” magazine.
Thomas Seah, CLU

Thomas is a Canadian Insurance Specialist, and my key expert on domestic insurance vehicles. Thomas Seah began his career with a leading insurance company in 1984 after he completed his Economics degree at the University of Guelph. As a producer, Thomas received the prestigious award of National Quality Award for many years from the insurance industry’s association. He also worked as an assistant manager and a branch manager before joining RBC Wealth Management Financial Services in 1994. He has acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter designation and is a featured speaker in seminars in the financial services industry.
Kevin Flintoff, RHU, CPCA
Living Benefits Specialist
Kevin is a Living Benefits Specialist, and my key expert on domestic insurance vehicles such as Long-Term care insurance, Critical illness insurance and disability insurance. Kevin began his career in the financial services industry in 1995 and has gained a wide range of experience in this field. Kevin obtained his Honours Bachelors degree from Trent University and has earned his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA). He currently has plans to pursue the Certified Financial Planner (CF) designation.
Catherine Nichols, LLB, MA, CFP
Vice President and Will & Estate Consultant
As a Will and Estate Consultant, Catherine supports my team in the review and analysis of client wills and estate planning strategies. Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the area of residential real estate, Will and Estate planning and estate administration. Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate planner in 1996 and has since focused exclusively on this area of law. She continues to focus on Will and Estate planning with RBC. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) , the Estate Planning Council of Niagara and the Niagara In House Legal Council Group.
Mark Bayko, MBA

Mark is my technical expert in the area of US Equity analysis and portfolio structuring. Mark earned a Bachelor of Commerce at McGill University, and is a CFA charterholder.
Fixed Income Portfolio Advisor
Mikhial is my technical expert providing support on Fixed Income Strategies. Mikhial joined RBC Wealth Management in 2008 as member of the Wealth Management Generalist Program. As a Generalist, he gained experience in three business units. RBC DS Fixed Income Advisory Desk, RBC Dain Rauscher’s Retail Structured Products Group in Minneapolis, and the Fixed Income and Currencies Group with RBC Global Asset Management.

Matt is my technical expert providing support on Equity Options and Warrant Strategies. Matt joined RBC Wealth Management in 2002 after receiving a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Toronto. He is a CFA charterholder.

Nick is my USA Pension Scheme (IRA) Portfolio Advisor. Nick joined RBC Financial Group in July 2004 after several years with a nationally recognized Financial Planning Firm. Nick holds an MBA and BA degree from Campbell University as well as an Executive Certificate in Certified Financial Planning from Duke University.
Don Lafrense, CFA

Don supports my team as an Alternative Investments Advisor. Don brings over 10 years of experience in the hedge fund industry. His primary function is to support on all alternative investment strategies, which broadly encompasses hedge funds, private equity, commodities and real estate. Prior to his current role, Don was a Trading Risk Manager with RBC Capital Markets for 7 years where he was primarily responsible for managing derivative risk for hedge funds in North America.
