Steve is originally from PEI and moved to Thunder Bay in 1993 with his wife Mary, who was born here. Steve began his financial services career at that time.
Steve joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2006 after a 7 year career with a previous firm. Over the course of his career he earned the prestigious Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Steve is life insurance licensed through RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc.
Steve's primary focus is wealth management. This includes portfolio management, asset allocation, tax efficiency, insurance reviews and planning. Steve strongly believes in forging strong personal relationships with his clients and their families.
Steve and his wife, Dr. Mary Valente have been married since 1989 and have a son and daughter. Steve has spent many years involved in his children's lives, coaching hockey, baseball, and soccer.
