Specializing in estate planning, Tracey applies innovative and tax-efficient solutions to a variety of wealth management issues and is skilled at simplifying their complexities. Her individualized approach to personal and corporate insurance planning help clients achieve their wealth management objectives and reach their estate and financial goals.
Beginning her financial services career in 1994, Tracey joined RBC in 2012. Beforehand, she spent 13 years with a leading life insurer, focused on providing insurance solutions expertise to advisors and product marketing.
Committed to ongoing development, Tracey has obtained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
Will & Estate Consultant
Kelly received her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 and was called to the bar in 1995. She practised in the areas of litigation, family law and estate planning at a law firm until joining a major trust company in 1996, where she worked in a variety of roles involving estate administration and planning. Kelly joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2003.
Kelly received her Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1998 and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada. She has recently completed Parts I and II of the CICA in-depth tax course.
Kelly’s significant practical experience in the estate planning and administration field, coupled with her financial planning expertise, allows her to offer guidance on both the tax and personal implications of your estate plan.
Financial Planning Consultant
Jason Nelson grew up in Markham, Ontario. He graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1997 with a BSSc (Political Science), and moved to downtown Toronto in 1998 to begin his financial career with Royal Trust as an Account Manager in the Wealth Management Group. In 2000 his department was merged into RBC Investments, Financial Planning, where he would become a Financial Planner.
In 2005, Jason joined Dominion Securities as a Financial Planner where he provided financial planning and advice to clients of downtown area branches. In 2010 he was named the Financial Planning Consultant for the flagship Royal Bank Plaza branch.
Jason was accredited as a Financial Planner in 2001, and holds both the Certified Financial Planner designation ("CFP”) from the Financial Planning Standards Council, and the Personal Financial Planner designation ("PFP”) from the Institute of Canadian Bankers. In addition to financial planning credentials, Jason also holds a Derivatives Market Specialist designation ("DMS”) from the Canadian Securities Institute. In 2010, Jason was named a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute ("FCSI”).
Jason’s primary role at RBC Dominion Securities is to work with advisors in preparing comprehensive financial plans, and ensure that their clients receive professional financial planning information, and a professional experience.
