Scott provides investment, estate and insurance solutions to highly successful people, and focuses all of his energy on helping them accomplish their goals. His approach to managing clients’ financial affairs is unique, as he takes the time to ensure that he has a sound understanding of the issues that are of greatest importance to each of his clients. Scott has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has previously worked for the public sector managing community health care budgets and programs throughout Northwestern Ontario. A competitive curler, Scott has represented Northern Ontario in six Canadian championships, most notably reaching the 1993 Brier semi-finals and winning the gold medal in the 1985 Canada Winter Games. His last time at the Brier was as skip of the 2003 team. Scott was born and raised in Thunder Bay. He and his wife Kathleen have twin girls, and together they enjoy camping and travelling. As an avid supporter of Children’s Aid of Thunder Bay, his family also cares for two foster children.

Kelly received her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1993 and was called to the Bar in 1995. She practiced in the areas of litigation, family law and estate planning at a law firm until joining a major trust company in 1996. Kelly joined RBC Dominion Securities in 2003 and provides guidance on both the tax and personal implications of your estate plan.

Garry T. Bard, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B., TEP

Garry received his LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1987.

He has experience practicing estates law in private practice as well as with various financial institutions. Garry is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) as well as the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Garry’s legal experience spans over 35 years and his law practice focused on providing proactive planning advice to both individuals and businesses with estate and succession planning concerns.
