Senior Portfolio Manager & Wealth Advisor
Ryan has been a Portfolio Manager and Wealth Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from the University of Manitoba. Focused on each client’s success, he and his team provide sound advice and strategies to help clients grow and protect their wealth.
Supporting the community is important to Ryan, and he regularly volunteers time and resources to many local charities. He has also served on the Boards of several foundations and chaired numerous foundation dinners.
A proud Manitoban, Ryan was born and raised on the family farm in Melita. He is involved in sports, but his greatest joy is being a father to his two incredible children, Adyson and Ardan.
Associate Wealth & Investment Advisor
Alan started his career with RBC Dominion Securities in 1997 and has been an Investment Advisor since 2013. He maintains a high professional standard in wealth management, portfolio management, financial planning, and insurance. This enables Alan to deliver the wealth strategies that meet the needs of his clients.
A past recipient of the Dominion Securities Award of Excellence for the Prairies area. This award celebrates and rewards those who make a truly special contribution in their role and create an exceptional client experience.
Hiecy has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 2005. Her role centres on fulfilling clients’ investment and wealth management needs, from managing discretionary portfolios to addressing retirement, tax, estate, and philanthropic planning. Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Hiecy worked as a credit and investment analyst in one of the largest banks in the Philippines.
To further help clients with their wealth succession, business succession, and charitable legacy, Hiecy has attained the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation through Ivey Business School. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a major in Business Administration (magna cum laude) from the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas.

As a Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA), Heicy has been licensed and educated on the unique needs that these relationships present. She has the required technical skills and can help family members effectively discuss and navigate any concerns or challenges.
Associate Advisor
Jessica has been with Ryan Downey Wealth Management Group since 2009. She works closely with all team members to ensure all clients' needs are met. To help deliver our holistic wealth management approach to clients, Jessica develops financial plans, arranges Will and estate consultations, and creates risk reports, among other integrated services.
She earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a major in Finance and Human Resources from the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jessica enjoys sharing all that the city has to offer. She sits on the Board of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB and volunteers with the Winnipeg Jets True North Hockey Academy, helping unprivileged children learn how to skate and play hockey.
Sandy is an experienced Associate Advisor with over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. An affinity for numbers and a desire to help people inspired her investing career.
Prior to joining Ryan Downey Wealth Management Group in 2023, Sandy worked at a leading full-service investment firm. She is fully licensed in both the investment and insurance fields and prides herself in providing superior client service.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Sandy appreciates all the perks the city has to offer. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and visiting with friends. Every year, she looks forward to long summer days at the lake.
Sebastian first came to Ryan Downey Wealth Management Group as a student intern before joining us full-time in 2022. In his role, he assists the team in wealth management solutions, business development, asset gathering, and partnership. His interest in portfolio management and desire to help others led him to the financial industry.
A graduate of the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, Sebastian holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a dual major in Finance and Marketing. He is pursuing industry coursework to broaden his skills and better serve clients.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Sebastian grew up playing competitive hockey and still enjoys spending time on the ice. In the summer, he plays tennis and golf. He also loves to travel.

Cristina has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 2015 where she started her career with the Ryan Downey Wealth Management Group. In 2022, Cristina moved to Edmonton and continued her career at RBC Dominion Securities.
In the past, Cristina worked as a real estate broker in the Philippines, where she also obtained a Bachelor of Business Management.
She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, and is always eager to lend a helping hand.
