Catherine Nicholls

Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, Will and Estate planning and estate administration.

Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of law. She
continues to focus on Will and Estate planning with RBC. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

 

 


Mike Bogle
Private Banker 
 

As Private Banker, Michael Bogle brings 10 years of experience in financial services to his role providing personalized, discrete financial counsel to a select group of clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Together with his team who include a Private Banking Associate and Manager, Credit Structures Mr. Bogle will collaborate with a variety of partners throughout RBC to create and deliver tailored, personalized banking packages and high-end credit vehicles. As per each client's unique circumstances, these packages may include specialized wealth management planning, business owner planning, estate planning and domestic and international trust structures. Through this customized Private Banking experience, his clients are able to simplify the many details of their financial lives and focus on their career and personal goals. 
 

Suzanne Schultz, CA, CFP
Estate Planning Specialist
 
Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners, highly taxed investors, affluent families and other clients. Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canada's leading multi-family office firms. She was previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honour roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes.

Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.

Suzanne's areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.
 
 
Rebecca Henri,

Rebecca brings over 10 years of financial planning experience to her role in helping clients meet their goals. She received a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Trent University in 1996 and has maintained a commitment to continued learning.

Rebecca holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada and has also completed the Professional Financial Planner, Canadian Securities and Canadian Insurance Courses.

Over the last three years, Rebecca has worked extensively with high net worth clients including business owners, executives and professionals and has gained considerable expertise with more advanced tax and estate planning strategies.
 

J. Mark Skeggs, CA, CFP, TEP

As a Business Owner Specialist, High Net Worth Planning Services, Mark, together with your primary RBC advisor, helps you explore succession, tax, retirement and estate planning issues you face as a business owner.

Prior to joining RBC, Mark spent over a decade in the Private Company Services tax group of a Big 4 accounting firm in Toronto. Acting as a trusted business advisor for high net worth clients, Mark was responsible for the creation and implementation of effective strategies for wealth preservation and accumulation in the context of tax, estate and succession planning for owner-managers of private companies, senior executives of public companies and professional athletes.

Mark is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Planner, and a Trust and Estate Practitioner. He has completed all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course, as well as the Advanced Tax Issues for the Owner-Managed Business Course and the Corporate Reorganizations Course. Mark has served as Chair of the Board of Evaluators for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Club of Ontario. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Queen's University.

 

Thomas Seah, B.A. (Econ.), CLU

Thomas will create a tailored plan using insurance solutions to increase and secure your wealth, reduce the impact of future taxation and structure your estate so your wealth is transferred to your heirs in accordance with your wishes. Thomas evaluates various insurance offerings including life insurance, annuity and living benefits.

Thomas joined the insurance industry in 1984 after completing a university degree in economics. In 1995, he joined RBC Wealth Management and is one of the agency’s longest serving employees. Highlighting his commitment to the industry, Thomas also holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.

 

Grant Henri, CFP, PFP, Pl.Fin., TEP
Vice President, Business Owner Specialist High Net Worth Planning Services

Grant attended Concordia University in Montreal where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Grant has completed the in-depth tax program with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (Levels I, II and III). Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field. In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Québecois de Planification Financière to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec. Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto.
