Rob is a seasoned and experienced executive with over thirty years of diversified financial and business experience in financial, real estate, airline and banking businesses.
Rob has achieved recognition as a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). The Investment Dealers Association of Canada (now known as IIROC) selected Rob as a regional semi-finalist for the very prestigious Distinction Award, recognizing outstanding Investment Advisors who exemplify excellent service to clients and the community.

Chairman of the Ohlson Cancer Research Initiative; Samaritans Purse, Turn on the Tap, Advisory Board Member; Chairman Young Life Calgary Centre Committee; Member of the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business Advisory Council; Finance Co-Chair, Wood’s Homes Foundation Dinner; Salvation Army, Leadership Gifts Committee; Chairman of The Friends of Esther Honens International Piano Competition; Vice Chairman, Calgary Convention Centre Board; Calgary Transportation Authority - Airline Committee -- having participated in the negotiations between Canada and the U.S. for the “open skies” air treaty.
Rob has also been a regular guest on CBC 1010 radio’s after lunch program, answering listeners’ questions about their financial matters. He has also been recognized as an investment expert witness in discovery, regarding matters before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta.
Rob’s traveled extensively including the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America. He is a proud second generation Calgarian (so is his wife Laura), very happily married (just celebrated 30 years!) with three great adult children, Ashley, Katie and John. Rob is also an avid private pilot.
