Richard Stanton has worked in the financial services and investment industry since 1993. Richard provides comprehensive discretionary investment management solutions and services to high-net worth individuals, families, non-profit organizations, foundations and trusts.

Focused on only a limited number of clients, Richard is able to develop genuine personal relationships with each of them. Those relationships, in turn, provide him with the in-depth understanding of his clients' needs, as well as the level of trust required to actively manage their portfolios.

He is supported by tax and estate planning specialists, legal and insurance professionals as well as banking and trust services, Richard can bring together a team to meet all of your needs.

Richard graduated with a BA degree and has acquired the designations of Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).

Community activities include volunteering as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Smithers, and as a Past President and Director of the Smithers Golf Course.

Outside of his professional pursuits Richard enjoys reading, golfing, travelling, and enjoying life with his wife and 2 daughters.

Malte Juergensen

Senior Commercial and Aboriginal Banking Specialist

Malte has been with RBC Since 1990. He began his career with RBC in Personal Financial Services and switched to Commercial Financial Services in 2000. He started working with First Nation Bands and their Economic Development Initiatives in 2002 and is now the Aboriginal Specialist for the Pacific Northwest.

Malte graduated from Grande Prairie Regional College in 1989 after studying Business Administration and Marketing.


Tracy Dykens


Tracy Dykens manages the day-to-day office operations and staff of The Stanton Group as well as personally assisting Richard Stanton. Tracy has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).


Nicole Todosichuk

Will & Estate Consultant

Nicole received her Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Dean's List) in 1991 and her Bachelor of Law Degree in 1999 from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to joining RBC, Nicole practised law for ten years in downtown Vancouver, first at a national law firm and then at a boutique tax and trust law firm. Nicole's practice focused on the implementation of tax and estate plans, Wills, domestic and offshore trusts, charities and business succession. Nicole is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Trusts Section and Charities Section and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners. Nicole's significant practical experience in estate planning allows her to offer valuable guidance in the development of your estate plan.

Tony Markin

Tony has worked in the Financial Industry for more than 20 years. Most of Tony's experience has been in working with high net worth clients, both personal and corporate, to help them achieve their financial goals. Tony believes in a holistic and comprehensive approach to Financial Planning and provides advice in the areas of tax minimization, estate planning, business succession, and intergenerational wealth transfer.

In his previous roles he provided tax and financial planning advice in the areas of tax minimization, estate planning, business succession, and intergenerational wealth transfer.

A Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner, Tony holds a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Global Asset and Wealth Management (Simon Fraser University) as well as a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the Sauder School of Business (University of British Columbia).

Tony has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants' In-depth Tax Course and the Canadian Tax Foundation Estate Planning Course. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (Canada), and Advocis.
