Senior Portfolio Manager & Investment Advisor
For Stephen Price, before finance, there was service.
Growing up in Cayman, Stephen spent much of his youth working at some of the top luxury hotels on the islands. He did just about every job – from waiting tables to staffing the front desk — and early on he set his sights on the very top, aspiring to one day run a hotel. He went on to study hotel management at the prestigious Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University in America, focusing his studies on business and finance. The experience opened Stephen’s eyes to broader possibilities and led him to a career in finance. But even as he pivoted away from hospitality, the words of Ellsworth M. Statler, late hotelier and one of the Nolan School’s founding benefactors, stuck with Stephen and would come to define his signature business approach: “Life is service.”
In the years that followed, Stephen gained experience with some of the most prominent financial institutions in North America and Europe, and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance from Imperial College, University of London as well as a Master of Philosophy in Management Studies from Cambridge University (M.Phil., cantab.) in the United Kingdom. In 2001, Stephen returned to the Cayman Islands and joined RBC Dominion Securities Global.
As senior portfolio manager and investment advisor, Stephen leverages his client-first thinking, more than two decades of cross-border private client experience, and the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute to enhance his clients’ finances. A creative “outside the box” opportunity seeker, Stephen thrives on putting together a special service offering – something his clients simply cannot obtain anywhere else in the world – and delivering on it with excellence.
Ninth generation Caymanian, Stephen is deeply committed to enhancing his community. In addition to making personal financial investments in Cayman, Stephen sits on the boards of the National Youth Commission and the Cayman National Culture Foundation to help inform future policies. In his personal life, Stephen is a proud father to Jamie and Lena – curious and adventurous teenagers who impress with their soccer prowess and are currently studying abroad, gaining international exposure like their dad.
Investment Advisor
If you do your job well and care more than others, you will never need to advertise, and people will refer you. It’s a powerful message Fil’s parents impressed upon him in his youth. A new immigrant to Canada from Serbia, Fil observed – and often worked alongside – his father as he gradually built his construction business through grit, determination, and high-quality service. As much as he loved seeing a finished project at the end of the day, he opted to study Economics at Toronto’s York University instead.
When Fil first joined the financial industry and RBC in 2010, he brought with him the trademark Nikic service-oriented approach, and quickly established himself as a reliable and industrious problem solver. Fil continued to work hard, deepening his market knowledge, and obtaining the advanced Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. In 2013, Fil’s reputation earned him an opportunity to work for RBC Dominion Securities Global in the Cayman Islands, where he outperformed his mandate by offering enhanced service, which garnered added business from satisfied clients. Stephen Price soon took note and, before long, he invited Fil to join Price Private Wealth.
As an investment advisor, Fil provides comprehensive wealth management to families, professionals, and corporate clients from various jurisdictions. Working in English or Serbian, he creates investment portfolios as well as in-depth financial planning models tailored to their individual goals. As a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), he is ever focused on protecting his clients’ wealth. In all he does, Fil pays careful attention to clients’ needs so he can continually uncover opportunities to further enhance their financial lives. He is always asking himself: “How can I do more for my clients?”
Fil is proud to call Cayman home and has put down deep roots over the past decade. He is a member of the CFA Cayman Islands Society and has sat on the membership committee of the Cayman Islands Bankers’ Association. In his off hours, Fil’s favourite way to unwind is through kitesurfing. He says the sport offers an unparalleled feeling of boundless freedom, and it’s one Fil regularly shares with Caymanian youth through a non-profit he co-founded with Gustavo Sancinetti called Winds for Future.
Christian has been financially savvy from the first, saving his allowance diligently as a child growing up in Hamburg, Germany. It’s only fitting that this responsible young man went on to build a lengthy and robust career in finance, starting with an apprenticeship in a local boutique bank with a focus on Latin America.
Though he moved to Cayman in 1996, transferred to RBC Dominion Securities Global in 2005, and joined Price Private Wealth in 2007, one thing has remained constant for Christian: a passion for securities and a drive to leverage their possibility to help people make the most of their wealth. As an investment advisor, Christian leans on more than three decades of expertise – as well as proficiency in English, German, and Portuguese – to deliver financial peace of mind to his clients.
Christian’s passion for the markets is rivalled only by his passion for Portugal. Since discovering what would become his “happy place” in 1988, Christian has immersed himself in Portuguese culture, learning the language, steeping himself in the history, even earning the honour of being the first foreigner invited to the Brotherhood of Douro Valley Wine Producers. Fittingly, Christian spends as much of his downtime in Portugal as he’s able. A father of two, Christian is proud to have three generations of Gollnicks under one roof, including his daughter and granddaughter, who never ceases to delight him.
Due to his banker father’s contract work, Gustavo’s childhood and youth unfolded between his native Brazil and Cayman. This made for a diverse upbringing, which might have contributed to Gustavo’s long-held fascination with global macro events and their ripple effects. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from one of Brazil’s most prestigious academic institutions, Gustavo got his start in finance in private banking in 2008, but had worked his way into investment management by 2011. Gustavo “returned home,” as he puts it, to Cayman in 2013 and joined Price Private Wealth of RBC Dominion Securities Global in 2020.
As an investment advisor, Gustavo leans on more than a decade and a half of financial expertise, proficiency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, as well as the technical knowledge gained from the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation to help his clients achieve their long-term investment objectives. A former semi-professional tennis player – at one point Cayman’s top-ranking junior – Gustavo likes to take a proactive approach. Be it finding an innovative investment solution perfectly suited to a client’s circumstances or leading a review of their overall wealth to uncover potential opportunities, Gustavo prides himself on always being well prepared – or, as he puts it, always ready to win.
In his off hours, Gustavo spends as much time as he can with his wife, their young daughter, Marina, and the beloved family dog. When he’s able, he also likes to get out on the water to surf and kiteboard, sometimes with his friend and Winds for Future co-founder, Fil Nikic.

Brought up in a London neighborhood very much in the shadow of the gleaming towers of the nearby City – London’s financial district – Daniel believed from an early age that he would end up working in the capital markets. Having left school at sixteen, Daniel soon found himself at evening class finishing his secondary education and went on to attain an M.A. from Cambridge University.
Having come down from Cambridge, Daniel entered the City in 1992, got his ASIP designation in 1996 and built a successful career in institutional asset management on behalf of pension funds and insurance companies, specializing in fixed income. His former employers include one of the largest UK pension funds, one of oldest names in UK asset management and one of the largest US asset managers. In 2009, Daniel moved to Toronto and worked in international wealth management in increasingly client-facing roles, finishing with one of the country’s premier asset managers in charge of their Caribbean distribution and responsible for their captive insurance business. Daniel has been married for 35 years to his South American wife, and they have two beautiful children, the elder of whom they leave behind in Toronto working for a competitor Canadian bank and the younger is finishing her secondary education in England.
