Following his graduation from the University of Victoria with a degree in Economics, Edward increased his skill set by working for a financial planning firm in the United Kingdom. After a number of years abroad, he returned to Canada and joined RBC Dominion Securities, Canada’s leading provider of wealth management trusted by over 400,000 clients worldwide. Ed currently holds both the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations, along with securities, options, derivatives, insurance (LLQP) licenses and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Edward captained and played for the Canadian National Men’s Rugby Team from 2001 to 2012.
He made 57 international appearances for the national team and competed in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups.
Ed’s philanthropic efforts have centered on giving back to different community across the country. He has been involved with KidSport, The Canadian Rugby Foundation and Habitat for Humanity. He currently lives in South Surrey with his wife and two daughters.
