Neil’s role is to understand his clients’ financial needs and to help build overall strategies. He is committed to helping work through these strategies over the long term.
Neil began his investment career in 1996 when he joined RBC Dominion Securities in downtown Vancouver as an Investment Advisor. His investment ability was recognized in 2004 when he was one of the first advisors at RBC DS to receive the ‘Portfolio Manager’ designation. In 2014 Neil was awarded the Vice President designation in recognition of his commitment and dedication to his clients and the firm over the years. In the words of the CEO of RBC DS in making this award to Neil:

Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Neil developed an understanding of investment principles while earning an MBA at the University of Western Ontario (1985) and a global perspective through an International Relations degree from UBC (1982). He gained extensive business experience working in the information technology industry from 1985 to 1996, initially at IBM and then at Amdahl Corporation as District Manager for BC.
Neil and his wife Allison live in West Vancouver and have five children combined. He enjoys cycling to work and is a budding guitar player. Neil invests his retirement savings in the same portfolios as his clients.
