As Senior Branch Manager of the St. Catharines and Niagara Falls offices, Michael’s role includes running all aspects of the Niagara RBC Dominion Securities business. His particular focus is on both coaching and managing high performing advisory teams to deliver an exceptional client experience and working to give back and make Niagara a better community.
Michael has a unique ability to both communicate and relate with clients and advisors in a comfortable way. He works to have a deep understanding of their individual issues. He has strong business beliefs based on his unique experience, and truly believes that Canadians are best served, working with skilled, knowledgeable, and principled Investment Advisors.
Michael has been in the financial industry for 30 years, and before joining RBC Dominion Securities, he spent a decade with one of the world’s largest, independent, investment management firms most recently as Vice-President, Regional Sales. In that role Michael provided business and financial solutions to Investment Advisors across Ontario, through countless meetings, seminars and presentations. After guiding advisors to find thoughtful solutions for their clients, Michael is now able to help advisors directly as a Branch Director with Canada’s leading wealth management firm.
Born, raised and educated in Niagara, Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours degree from Brock University. He continued his studies while working for RBC and obtained his MBA. Michael lives in the wonderful wine region with his wife, a primary school teacher, and their two daughters. He enjoys being an active member of the community volunteering his time with several organizations.
