Phishing (sounds like fishing) is a form of e-mail fraud intended to trick people into disclosing confidential information. Remember that RBC will never ask you for confidential information by regular e-mail. If you receive an e-mail that appears to be from RBC asking for your account numbers, PIN or password, do not respond. Instead, immediately forward the e-mail to RBC's information security team at information.security@rbc.com or call us at 1-800-769-2555.
