As Branch Manager and Investment Advisor, Larry was responsible for overall branch activities in addition to maintaining an active client base. Within the Branch, his responsibilities included ensuring Investment Advisors have access to the most up to date training, technology and resources available in the industry in order to improve the results and level of satisfaction for clients. He was also responsible for branch compliance, ensuring client accounts are consistently maintained with the highest level of integrity and security.

In 2007, Larry made the decision to resign as Branch Manager so he could dedicate more time to his clients. Based on the RBC Wealth Management approach, utilizing all the resources of RBC Dominion Securities, his clients are provided with a wide array of wealth management services in addition to access to insurance and will & estate specialists. 

Prior to joining the investment industry Larry graduated from the University of Waterloo (B.E.S.) and the University of Guelph with M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics. He earned an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) for Options and Derivatives. He has completed numerous supervisory exams and credentials in addition to the industry Partners, Officers and Directors examinations. Larry was appointed Vice President of RBC DS in 2002, and in 2008 completed his Professional Financial Planning (PFP) Course.

Married with two children, Larry is involved locally with Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church as past chair of Board of Managers, as Finance Committee member of the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, and as Past Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Fredericton. Since 2007, Larry has held the position of Treasurer for the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

Annick graduated from McGill University with a degree in Commerce in 2007. Over the past 10 years she has been working with a major Canadian financial services firm where she has gained extensive experience and taken on increased responsibility for all areas of client service, operations, problem solving and team management. We are very pleased to have her join our team.

Jason began his career in the insurance industry in 1996 when he graduated from the Universite de Moncton with a BBA in Finance and Economics. He joined RBC in 2006 after nine years with a leading Canadian insurer. Jason has his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). He works closely with with Larry and the clients accounting and legal advisors to i nsure proper proposals meet clients needs. To help in these endeavors, Jason has access to insurance solution from Canadas top ranked insurance providers.


Gerry DSouza, B.Sc., CLU, CHFC, CFP Regional Insurance SpecialistToronto Area       

Gerry helps  Larry provide tax-efficient, insurance-based strategies to enhance and protect the financial well-being of Larry's Ontario clients. Gerry joined RBC in 2002 and brings with him over 30 years of life insurance industry experience, including a senior management role with a leading financial institution.

In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree, Gerry has also acquired the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. He has also obtained the professional designation for Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Gerry taught the Life Underwriters Association Training Course (LUATC), moderated the Field Management Seminar (FMS) and served on the Advocis board (CAIFA). He is active on the Advisory Board for the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO).

Sharon Avery, LLB  Will & Estate Consultant  

Sharon earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from Dalhousie Law School in 2006, a Bachelor of Public Relations degree from Mount Saint Vincent University (1996) and a diploma in Community Services (1986).

Before pursuing her law degree, Sharon spent over ten years in senior roles within the not-for-profit sector in the Atlantic Region managing corporate partnerships, community and individual donor relationships and media relations.

Sharon was in private practice with a large regional firm, and practiced in the areas of medical defence, health law, estate litigation, Wills, estates, and trusts prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities.

Sharons role is to work with and support your advisor by providing you with information on structuring your estate in an efficient and tax-effective manner.
