Kerry is a licensed Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager who started at Pemberton Securities in 1983, which was later acquired by RBC Dominion Securities. He graduated from the University of Victoria in 1982 with his Bachelor of Science with a mathematics major. Kerry has his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), The Fellow of CSI (FCSI) designation and he is very versed in most option strategies.
Being in his 35th year allows Kerry to consider himself a “Veteran” in the Investment industry. Over this time frame he has continued to focus on:
Clarity- what he and his team is recommending their clients invest in and why
Time-Tested Investments- which often produce higher rates of return, versus highly sophisticated, complicated products
Balance- maintaining an ideal balance between fixed income and equities is imperative
Kerry was born in Prince Rupert, but soon after moved to the Okanagan making it his lifelong home. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying activities that each season has to offer including skiing, fishing, curling, golfing and hiking. Kerry, his wife Deb, and his two girls, Toni and Dana, enjoy their winters at their cabin at Mt. Baldy and traveling to Palm Springs in the early spring for some sunshine.
