Justin brings extensive capital markets and advisory expertise to his clientele. Since 1999, he has provided financial advice to corporations and individual and institutional investors. Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2016, Justin was in Corporate Finance / Investment Banking for 12 years which has given him a unique perspective among Investment Advisors. Several of the new issues / investment products he was involved in bringing to market were not only recommended by advisors within his firm but across several firms. His intimate knowledge of the capital markets has been provided to management and boards in financing transactions and in merger and acquisition mandates with values well into the billions of dollars.
Justin is born, raised and educated in British Columbia with an undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University (SFU) and Diploma of Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). He served two consecutive terms on the BCIT Board of Governors. Justin holds the coveted Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Justin and his wife Maylene live with their two boys in Courtenay where they have had family for 4 generations. He is an avid outdoors-man with interests including (but not limited to!) fishing, skiing and snowboarding.
