With over 20 years of experience in the wealth management industry, Jim Weir has an in-depth understanding of the global marketplace.   Dedicated to ongoing professional education that benefits his clients, he holds his Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, and options and insurance licenses.

Jim takes a personal approach to helping his clients meet their  wealth goals. With his proactive wealth management style, he creates individualized solutions on a security-by-security basis, structuring portfolios to meet investors’ evolving needs in concert with changing market conditions.

Passionate about giving back to his community, Jim supports several local charities, including 100 Men Red Deer, a fundraising group that makes an impact on local grassroots charities.

Angela Gray

Angela has been with RBC Dominion Securities since July 2011. Angela's background includes a Business Administration diploma as well as completion of the Canadian Securities Course, and Wealth Management Essentials to make her a fully licensed associate since 2006. In 2014 she obtained her Derivatives Fundamentals and Option license. Angela has a wealth of investment knowledge and ten years of experience in the industry.

Angela is a wife and mother of two boys. She enjoys long-distance running, a sport that reflects her dedication to hard work, as well as her patience and tenacity—characteristics that have served the team’s clients well. Like Jim, she is community-minded and is involved in the grassroots fundraising group 100 Women Red Deer.

Joyce Burnett

Will and Estate Specialist

Joyce graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a B.Sc and from Dalhousie Law School with her Bachelor of Law.  She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986.  Prior to joining RBC, Joyce practiced law exclusively in the area of wills, estate planning, estate administration, trust and charities law for ten years.

Joyce works with our wealth management team to ensure wills, powers of attorney andestate structures are the most efficient and effective as possible.

Colin Biblow

Estate Planning Specialist

Colin is a valuable member of our Wealth Management team, helping us create, preserve and increase your wealth by incorporating insurance into your comprehensive financial plan. Attending the University of Regina's Faculty of Administration, Colin completed his degree in 2002. He has earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations.

Specializing in estate planning, Colin is able to provide innovative and tax efficient solutions to various wealth management issues. Additionally, he is able to focus on personal and corporate solutions while addressing needs related to estate preservation, excess taxation and farm and business succession.

Working closely with our Wealth Management team, Colin employs a comprehensive process to assess your wealth management needs and then recommends creative strategies to help increase your wealth, reduce the impact of taxation and secure your wealth.
