Bill prepares comprehensive Personal Financial Plans to help clients identify and reach specific goals with respect to retirement, education, major purchase funding and estate planning. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bill has worked with another IIROC firm, a Chartered Bank, and a local credit union. He has extensive experience helping clients plan for retirement and dealing with severance packages. Bill has his Bachelor of Commerce (Finance Major) from the University of British Columbia. He has completed and taught the Canadian Securities Course and has the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner.

 

Dana George, LL.B

Will & Estate Consultant

Dana obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Calgary in 1999 and earned her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary in 2002.  She was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2003 and in British Columbia in 2005. 

Prior to joining RBC Dominion Securities, Dana practiced law in Calgary, Lake Country and Vancouver.  Dana was a litigator at a mid-sized law firm in Calgary.  She started her own practice in Lake Country when she moved there in 2005.  Her practice consisted of estate planning, real estate development and conveyances and small business corporate matters. 

 

Aileen La Borie, LL.B., TEP

Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services

Aileen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 2000 and graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 2003.  She was called to the Bar in British Columbia and Ontario in 2004.  She has completed her CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course-parts 1 and 2. 

Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Aileen practiced law in Vancouver and Toronto.  She specialized in estate planning, trusts and tax litigation until joining a major trust company in 2005.  In 2009, Aileen joined RBC, assisting clients with their overall tax and estate planning, and in 2014, assumed her present position, specializing in assisting high-net-worth clients with their succession, tax, retirement and estate planning. 

 

Arne Perrin, B.Comm (Hons), CFP

Vice President and Estate Planning Specialist

Arne Perrin has been with RBC since 2000.  He focuses on inter-generational wealth transfer, and succession and transition planning from family businesses, entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals. 

Specializing in estate planning, Arne provides solutions to various wealth management issues using insurance-based strategies.  The process involves understanding personal and corporate objectives, and then providing information on Wills, incapacitation and trust planning. 

Arne's commerce degree is specialized in "Entrepreneurial Management."  He is also a member of the Professional Advisory Committee for the Business Family Centre at the UBC Sauder School of Business.
