Grant has been providing comprehensive wealth management services to central Alberta's businesses and families since 1995. He has earned the Canadian Investment Management (CIM) designation and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).  Grant is also licensed with the Insurance Council of Alberta, enabling him to advise clients on complex risk management, tax-deferral and estate-planning strategies.

In recognition of the comprehensive wealth management approach in his practice, Grant was awarded the designation of Wealth Advisor. He has also obtained the Vice President designation and become a member of the RBC Dominion Securities Directors Council in recognition of the quality of his business.

 Grant believes that disciplined investment strategies must be applied to the management of every client's investment portfolio and that all investment decisions must be made within the greater context of each client's unique objectives and long-term financial plan.

In his spare time, Grant likes to read and work on projects in his woodworking shop. He and his wife, Gayle, enjoy an active lifestyle that includes golfing, hiking, cycling and travel.

Evan joined RBC Dominion Securities as an Investment Advisor in 2013.  He completed the Canadian Securities and Wealth Management Essentials courses through the Canadian Securities Institute. Evan has also earned his Level II Life Insurance license through RBC Financial Services, qualifying him to advise clients on complex risk management and tax-deferral and estate-planning strategies. Evan has also earned the designation of Wealth Advisor through his continued focus on comprehensive wealth management for his clients.

Backed by the resources of RBC Dominion Securities, Evan works to ensure that all client needs are met, from investment portfolio management to retirement planning and estate planning. In addition to professional wealth management advice, Evan works closely with his clients to ensure they receive a positive experience based on excellent communication, honesty and integrity.

Born and raised in Alberta, Evan graduated from the University of Calgary and now resides in Red Deer with his wife, Vicki. He is an avid jazz trumpet player and supporter of the local arts community.

Tracy Collins has been in the wealth management industry with RBC Dominion Securities since 2004.

Tracy's role involves all aspects of client service and account administration. With her many years of experience, her dedicated commitment to exceptional service and her wealth of knowledge on all client account and reporting systems, Tracy is the first point of contact for all inquiries. She is fully licensed by the Canadian Securities Institute, allowing her to assist with any investment trading related matters.

In recognition of her support of the delivery of the team's comprehensive wealth management approach plus her completion of the Wealth Management Essentials and the Associate Advisor courses, Tracy has earned the title of Associate Wealth Advisor.

Tracy has one son, currently attending university in Edmonton. She is an avid football fan having held season tickets to the Calgary Stampeders since 2006 and Edmonton Wild Cats since 2013.  

Joyce Burnett, LL.B., TEP

Will & Estate Consultant

 Joyce Burnett graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a B.Sc. and from Dalhousie Law School with her Bachelor of Laws. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1986.

Prior to joining RBC, Joyce practiced law exclusively in the areas of wills, estate planning, estate administration, trusts, and charities law for ten years. She has taught professional continuing education seminars for the Legal Education Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.

Joyce is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Canadian Bar Association Wills and Estates, and Elder Law Subsections. She has spoken at many public and private seminars on the importance of estate planning, including planning for incapacity and succession. She is a regular speaker during Edmonton Wills Week, sponsored by the Edmonton Community Foundation.

Joyce is also very active in her community where she has been involved with a number of charitable and non-profit organizations.

 
 

Colin Biblow, CFP, FMA

Colin is a valuable member of our team helping to create, preserve and increase your wealth by incorporating insurance into your comprehensive financial plan.

  Specializing in estate planning, Colin is able to provide innovative and tax efficient solutions to various wealth management issues. Additionally, he is able to focus on personal and corporate solutions while addressing needs related to estate preservation, excess taxation and farm and business succession planning.

Colin began his career in the insurance industry in 2002 working for a national wealth management firm, focusing on investment management and insurance solutions. He joined RBC in 2011.

Attending the University of Regina's Faculty of Administration, Colin completed his degree in 2002. He has earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Financial Management Advisor (FMA) designations. He is also a member of ADVOCIS, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, which is the oldest and largest voluntary professional membership association of financial advisors and planners in Canada.

Colin lives in Saskatoon with his wife and daughter. He is very active in community organizations and volunteers numerous hours throughout the year with a variety of community service groups.

 
 

Jason Fong, B.Comm., CA

Financial Planning Specialist 

Jason is a Chartered Accountant (CA). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and has completed all three levels of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accounts' In-Depth Tax Course.

Coming from one of the major global accounting firms, Jason brings a broad range of experience to his role as a Financial Planning Specialist. In his previous role, his work included tax minimization through appropriate tax planning (corporate and personal) and business restructuring. Jason's client base included high-net-worth individuals, private companies, trusts and partnerships.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, Jason's role is to work with and support your advisor in preparing and presenting your Compass Financial Plan and to identify and assess any related financial, tax and retirement planning concerns you might have. 

 

 

Coady Cormier B.B.A. (Finance), LL.B., TEP

Coady specializes in tax and estate planning for wealthy families.

Coady has assisted wealthy families with tax and estate planning since 1992.  His expertise includes tax and estate planning for executives, business owners, professionals, retirees and those individuals with U.S. issues.

Coady is a lawyer and his educational background includes the completion of the CICA’s in-depth tax course (Levels I, II and III), a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance Major) from Bishop’s University, and a law degree from Dalhousie University.  He is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Canadian Bar Association (Southern Alberta Branch, Tax Specialist) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
