Jennifer Janeczko, MTax
Financial Planning Specialist
Jennifer completed her Masters of Taxation degree at the University of Waterloo in 2004 after completing a postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning from Wilfred Laurier University in 2001.
Prior to joining RBC in 2015, Jennifer gained a unique understanding of planning for the owner-manager through various roles within the insurance and accounting industries. Her professional experience includes working extensively with high net worth individuals and their advisors dealing with estate and succession planning, corporate and personal tax, insurance planning, family trusts, private foundations and charitable organizations.
Jennifer has over 10 years of taxation experience, is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, sits on the Board of Directors of the Estate Planners Council of Hamilton and is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Catherine Nicholls, LL.B., TEP
Will & Estate Consultant
Catherine received her Law Degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and has been a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1980. She was a partner in a small law firm and primarily practiced law in the areas of residential real estate, Will and Estate planning and estate administration.
Catherine joined a major trust company as a Senior Will and Estate Planner in 1996 and has since then focused exclusively on this area of law. She continues to focus on Will and Estate planning with RBC. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Suzanne Schultz, CA, CFP
Estate Planning Specialist
Suzanne Schultz is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner with a specialty in tax and estate planning. As an Estate Planning Specialist for RBC, she uses her knowledge of corporate and personal tax to develop personalized insurance solutions to meet the needs of business owners, highly taxed investors, affluent families and other clients. Prior to joining RBC in 2006, Suzanne was the Associate Vice-President of the Tax and Estate Planning Group of one of Canadas leading multi-family office firms. She was previously a Tax Manager at one of the largest professional services companies where she completed her CA designation with an honor roll placing, and completed the CICA In-depth tax course. She has taken numerous courses on tax and estate planning, including masters level courses on U.S. taxes.
Suzanne is the co-author of 78 Tax Tips for Canadians for Dummies, host of the HGTV series House Poor and has been a regular guest on the Business News Network. She has written articles and contributed towards publications for the Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Hamilton Spectator.
Suzannes areas of expertise include the use of insurance for personal and corporate tax planning, wealth preservation, financial planning, estate planning (including U.S. estate tax) and charitable giving.
Grant Henri, CFP, PFP, PLFIN., TEP
Vice President, High Net Worth Planning Services
Grant attended Concordia University in Montreal where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1992. He holds three financial planning designations, a Specialist designation from the Trust Institute, and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Grant is currently enrolled in and studying to complete the In-Depth Tax program with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Grant has over 25 years of progressive experience in various roles within the financial services field. In addition to his work with RBC Wealth Management, he is currently teaching Tax and Estate Planning courses for the Institut Qubecois de Planification Financire to support the continuing education requirements of financial planners in the province of Quebec. Grant has also provided support to the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada as a subject matter expert and has taught financial planning courses at George Brown College in Toronto.
Grant works closely with your advisor to identify strategies and solutions on structuring your affairs in a manner that addresses your overall wealth planning needs, which you would then discuss and implement with your accountant or lawyer.
