Ed’s extensive experience in the financial services industry over the past 25 years encompasses the areas of investment management, income tax, risk management, estate, pension and retirement planning.
After graduating from York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Ed began his career in 1988, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with a national accounting firm. He then completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Program, enabling him to offer more specialized advice for his personal and corporate clients.
Since 1994, Ed has focused exclusively on comprehensive personal wealth planning for professionals, executives, small business owners and retired couples.
Ed has earned the following professional designations:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Chartered Investment Manager (CIM)
In addition, Ed has given back to both the Oakville community and to his profession having served as a Board Member and Treasurer of The Premier Charity Golf Classic for five years as well as the Peel Halton Chapter of Advocis – The Financial Advisors Association of Canada for three years. He is an active member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and is certified under the Financial Planning Canada Standards Council.
