Duane obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree in 1988 from the University of Alberta and joined the investment industry in 1996.
Within just a year, Duane achieved the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute designation (FCSI) which is reserved solely for financial services professionals that meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and endorsement from peers.
In addition, he is a Portfolio Manager, has his derivative license and is also licensed to provide insurance solutions.
Duane is a “hands on” manager developing portfolio strategies and solutions to meet his client’s investment needs.
Duane is married to Loralee and they live on the Southside. They have two boys, Carter and Cole. Carter, a Macewen University Graduate, has worked alongside Duane at RBC Dominion Securities for the past several years, and Cole is working as a mechanical engineer in Vancouver.
While he enjoys golfing in the summer, he enjoys playing a little hockey in the winter time. He is an avid Oiler fan and an active member of the community.
