A knack for numbers led Chris to pursue a career in the financial services industry more than 34 years ago. He joined Royal Bank in 1990 and moved up through the ranks in such roles as Assistant Manager Customer Service and Personal Banking Representative before joining RBC Dominion Securities in 2000. In his current role, Chris directly assists Dan with the investment management process, including building, allocating and implementing client portfolios. Clients and colleagues alike appreciate his cheerful demeanor, willingness to help, attention to detail, and commitment to client service.
Chris’s responsibilities include portfolio construction, modeling, rebalancing and implementation, fixed income and equity trading, and dealing with high-level client inquiries and requests. He graduated from Royal Roads University with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) in entrepreneurial management, achieved his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the Calgary CFA Society.
In his free time, Chris enjoys camping trips with his family, playing disc golf, and tackling home improvement projects. He also gives back to his community through volunteering – primarily for Calgary Disc Golf Club events and tournaments, and for Community Clean Up events.
