As a Senior Investment Counsellor with RBC PH&N Investment Counsel, Cody McMullin works with high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional clients to design customized discretionary investment management solutions intended to provide his clients with peace of mind so they can focus on what is most important to them.
Prior to joining the firm, Cody worked at one of Canada’s largest national accounting firms where he obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designations. This experience provided him with a strong working knowledge of tax, estate and business succession planning strategies. Cody prides himself on working collaboratively with his client’s external advisors, while drawing on a team of in-house professionals to deliver an integrated wealth management experience.
Working with a select number of clients, Cody is able to develop deep, personal relationships with his clients and their families. This not only allows him to gain an intimate understanding of client’s unique needs and financial goals but it also helps him provide investment and wealth management solutions that make sense for their individual situation and family dynamics.
Originally from the East Kootenays, Cody graduated with an Honors Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Victoria Society. As a former high level athlete, Cody also volunteers his time as a board member of 94 Forward, an organization dedicated to supporting and growing Canadian sporting talent.
Cody lives in Oak Bay with his wife, April, their son, Maxwell and goldendoodle, Walter. In his spare time Cody can be found on the golf course, hockey rink or spending quality time with his family.
